Great Product and Even Better Customer Service!

We ordered 130 classroom piece for our 3yr old for Christmas. This was the first time we made a purchase from this company but we were really excited to do so given its mission and the quality and innovation of its products. When we initially received our package, we noticed that the outer box appeared to have been resealed and the inner Tegu box had been cut open with the blocks and accessories just inside with no packaging. It may have occurred as part of a customs check but its unclear what may have occurred prior to its delivery. Since this was a present for our 3yr old for Christmas, we contacted the company to explain the situation. In particular, we were unsure whether the item shipped may have been an inadvertent return/used item sent to us when we ordered a new one. The response was immediate from a member of the Tegu team, Brandon. Brandon was extremely helpful and understanding. Brandon was able to come up with multiple options for us in resolving the issue. Brandon's response time/replies were immediate and professional. Brandon worked with other Tegu team members to get another item out to us that we were able to gift for Christmas. This was all within 24 hours of the initial contact during the busy holiday season. We were extremely surprised by the high level of customer service and how Tegu went above and beyond to ensure satisfaction and that our little one would enjoy opening the present in time. Tegu definitely has a repeat customer in our family and we are excited to continue to support this business by adding more of its products to our collection! Our little one had a wonderful Christmas and couldn't stop playing with these!

Gorgeous STEM toys but not more beloved than Magna-Tiles

These were a suggestion from a mommy group and I decided to give them a try. My 20-month-old son lovesMagna-Tiles Clear Colors 100 Piece Set so I know that he loves to build things and he understands magnetic toys. This is our first and only set of wooden blocks and they were a great hit with my son and his 3-year-old neighbor AT FIRST. I like the box that they come in because I can store the blocks after each playdate. The quality is really exceptional and the colors are rich and gorgeous. It's been a little over a month and I've taken a point off my review because my now 21-month-old son isn't really into them. Also, my husband finds it really frustrating that unlike Magna-Tiles, the number of ways you can magnetically connect the blocks are finite. You have to play around to figure out what parts are magnetic and what parts are not. I DO NOT recommend these unless you've tried them out before in person and you already know you or your kid likes them. If you paid full price, it's a long of money to risk on a toy that your child might not like or understand. You can get TWO Magna-Tiles 100 piece sets for the price you'll be shelling out for 130 pieces of Tegu blocks.

We lost my brother last year (granma's son) and wanted something all the kids (especially his) could play with and enjoy togethe

Although these were really expensive Grandma got the classroom set for all the grandkids based on reviews. We lost my brother last year (granma's son) and wanted something all the kids (especially his) could play with and enjoy together and suddenly price didn't seem that important anymore. My husband played with the blocks and the kids too. However more than one fight broke out because they are not based on the uniform standard block size so it is much easier for them to be accidentally knocked down. We used a whiteboard to build on since it was magnetic too. Overall they are great but could be even better. I got my son the 63 piece magformers set and I kinda wished we had splurged and gotten those for everyone instead (and they are cheaper). But these are still great and grandma likes them (especially the wheels) and the babies liked them too. They are especially nice since grandma lives in an area without internet and my brothers son is addicted to XBox live so this helps him find something else fun to do. They were all building away and creating awesome masterpieces more than one fell or got knocked down. The polarity not matching up was not that big of an issue.

Kids Engaged for Years!

These blocks have kept my kids engaged for years. I bought our first 42 piece set when my oldest was 4. We recently purchased this 90 piece set (almost 5 years later) because my kids still go to these blocks as a toy of choice several times a week even though they have tons of other nice toys to play with. They are way overpriced in my opinion, but they are quality built. The paint has never flaked. The wood is smooth. The magnetism is strong.

I love the tegu blocks! My daughters have been acquiring them little by little and as a Christmas gift I decided to splurge and get this set for them. We all love them!! The quality is great, the colors are nice! I highly recommend. The only thing is that they are pricey $$$

They Play Well With Other Toys!

Our daughter is almost three, and she loves these blocks. They work well with all of her other toys and add to play time. It’s a great way to encourage a child’s imagination. The picture shows a “mall” where her little characters take the train to various stores. Lots of fun for sure!

Probably best for children 4+

I bought the classroom set they are great quality and a good assortment of blocks but I wish there was more magnets because they turn into a huge source of frustration for younger children . The lack of magnets limits the building creativity .My toddlers don’t have a whole lot of interest in them. They are expensive for what they are, the magna tiles are much easier for the 2/3 year olds to use. Hoping in time my children will develop more of an interest in them.

Love these!

Already had a small box of these. My kids love them and wanted to be able to build whole cities. Wonderful toy! Expensive, but will last and they use them all the time. We've thrown out all our garbage toys and use these daily!
