It worked and it's cute
This is a large / cute blow up - you do have to tie off the top for it to stand up to the kids wanting to touch it. It worked for us right out of the box - we just had to plug it in - you have to LEAVE it plugged into a power source for it to work though... the fan blows / the thing stays up.

horrible motor design
I was so excited to order this item, as it looked amazing online. It worked well when I first plugged it in, although the motor seemed to be a bit underpowered for the size of the inflatable. I did immediately notice a major design flaw. The motor and fan intake on the base of the unit faces straight up at the sky. This means that the first rainstorm you get, you are going to have an inch of water going straight into the motor and filling the base of the inflatable. If you don't have it unplugged in advance of every shower or rainstorm, or if you don't fully dry out the whole inflatable before plugging it back in, you're going to short out the motor. The motor died out after one day. This major design flaw needs to be fixed before anyone else wastes their money on it. Most other inflatables this size either have a larger fan and motor that sit outside the inflatable, or they are mounted on the side of the item so as not to get so much rain in them. Make these changes, and it could be a great Halloween inflatable. Otherwise, don't waste your money!

I absolutely love it! Set up easy
I bought this back in Feb so it has sat waiting for halloween. I absolutely love it! Set up easy. Ran great. Fan on the top might be a problem, but luckily no rain. I would have made some sort of cover with ventilation for it had it rained. Kids were in awe of it. Great addition to my collection of halloween spooks! Would recommend

Crappy motor so disappointing
Motor has already died. So disappointed. I only got one Halloween season out of it. The motor is garbage and you can't get a replacement one without buying another unit. It is so stinking cute when it works, it is such a shame they didn't put a more robust weather proof motor on it. The thing says to plug it in a wall outlet but that is just dumb. They should be made for extension cords in the front yard and should hold up to light rain and wind.

A good choice
This blowup has the power to stand up in the wind, is well lit from inside, and has nice coloring. It could be all around bigger and taller for the price that I paid, but I am overall happy with it.
