Heartbroken boy

This was a "rainy day" gift for my grandson - 10 years old. Lo and behold, a part was missing when he finally received. He's heartbroken and it's too late by 2 weeks to return. I'll don't think I'll be buying anything similar again. Only gave 1 star because I couldn't post without it.

REVIEW -Airfix Quickbuild Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy

THESE ARE GREAT... This is the 5th or 6th one now, this Poppa has purchased AND my Grandson's and I have an absolute BLAST on building these. A wonderful way to spend some QUALITY time with your 5 & 6 year old grandchildren - Help develop skills - AND AIrfix has designed a quality and fun 'toy', with this series of kits.

Super E-Jaguar – almost Perfect

This E-Jaguar kit makes a lovely, solid, weighty, super model, though much more difficult in assembly than the three warplanes my grandson made last year. However, please note: (a) separating components from the moulding sheet either calls for vertical-cut clippers (as shown in the 'desirable accessories' sheet) or a very sharp modelling knife (not for a 6+ year old child as advertised); (b) the plastic is a tad more yielding than trad Lego parts (softer polymer?) and so the fit is less firm – needing more dexterity in assembly; (c) a missing part (headlamp section - as noted in other reviews) made assembly tough until we inserted a Lego 2x4 rectangle under the bonnet. Happily, Amazon speedily made good the missing part on request and rebuilding was then easy. Particularly noteworthy are the self-adhesive transfers, needing careful application using tweezers, which my grandson really enjoyed doing.

well design kit, model looks great

Lovely kit to give to the inexperienced modeller, good instruction easy to follow. No painting needed and resulting model looks very professional. Will have the maker smiling ear to ear.

Simple, quick gift

Found it a quick and easy build, first time trying the airfix quick build car range. Was easy to do, all parts fitted nicely without weird gaps, etc

Decent model

Decent model. Not quite Lego, but still pretty good. My car mad 11 year old son enjoyed building it, and thinks it looks good on his shelf.
