Oversized for thick bulbous muscles

Lets be real; When you get really into lifting, and you grow beyond "Normal" sizes if you catch my drift *cough* anabolic compounds *cough*...you end up wearing sweat pants/shorts and huge shirts everywhere. This fits the bill. I will buy a few more. Perfect fit. Lifters rise up!

Very oversized - beautiful "Sage Green" color.

Amazon Aware is Amazon's conscious line in which the products are carbon neutral certified and are "climate pledge friendly". This t-shirt is manufactured in Vietnam. Being part of the Amazon Aware line, I would love to see this t-shirt manufactured domestically to reduce global shipping impact. Or perhaps in Europe, a region with one of the most stringent worker, material, and environmental safety standards. This t-shirt is composed of 100% cotton. I think it would be beneficial to the line's ethos if this t-shirt was made using organic cotton, hemp, or linen. Aside from some qualms with the actual "consciousness" of this item, the t-shirt itself is of nice quality. The fabric has a sturdy feel. It has a very oversized fit with a boxy cut. It has a classic crew neckline and dropped shoulder seams with slits on the bottom hem. Where this t-shirt really shines for me is in the color. I chose the "Sage Green" color and it is a lovely light green that is true to the description photos. I know this t-shirt is marketed for men, but I, a woman, ordered this for myself. For reference, I am 5'5" tall 110 lbs with a straight body shape and long limbs with a short torso. I typically wear a size 0 or XS. I ordered this t-shirt in the smallest size offered - an XS. It is VERY oversized, I'd say it's equivalent to a men's Large. I plan on cropping and hemming this t-shirt using my sewing machine with a double needle. I also roll up the sleeves. I really like the generous fit and once it's cropped, I think it will serve as a great casual piece that I plan on pairing with joggers.

Very nice, heavy fabric -- but this thing is enormous!

I believe Amazon aware is Amazon's take on environmentally conscious clothing. The paper tag and different logo all give a premium, ESG-focused vibe. And overall, the quality feels superior to most basic t-shirt brands I've purchased. In fact, this is very heavyweight and I'm not sure I'd want to wear it on a hotter day. Overall, the collar is well constructed and reinforced and seems unlikely to easily stretch out, which is nice. The seams are all sewn to a high quality level as well. The main problem I have with this is that the "oversized" part is kind of ridiculous. I ordered a medium. I'm 6 feet tall and about 165 lbs and that's my typical size. So while I expected it to be quite loose, it was really insanely large on me. My kids got a good chuckle out of it, and I was able to easily pull it over my pretty loose fitting sweatshirt with room to spare. So overall, I'm really impressed with the construction and am glad to see efforts made to use consciously sourced materials. However, I just don't see why anyone who is a medium would want something that is essentially a XXL. The problem is if I want to get this in a size that actually kind of fits me, it will be a guessing game as to what to buy, and it may not even be possible. The XS, may still be too big for my frame. I'd love to see what the 3XL looks like, just out of curiosity. I hope they start to offer this quality in normally sized goods. I'd be a very happy customer as the pricing is pretty good for the quality you get. Maybe in the future...

Great shirt. It is also very thick which shows the quality of the materials used. They feel great and fits very comfortably as well. Would recommend to anyone who likes this kind of style.

I was on the fence....

I was on the fence.... ...as far as the size. The size chart on the page was not as helpful as I needed, especially given that this is considered "oversized". So, just for you, I measured the one I received. I ordered the size large. I laid this size large shirt flat and smoothed it out and then measured it. With it facing front.... From side to side, at the armpits and at the bottom seam,this measures 26.5 inches, so a total of 53 inches around; yeah, *that's* oversized. The opening at the sleeves, at the edge seam is 8 1/2 inches, so 17 inch opening total (my biceps will never fill that!). The actual weight of this, according to my kitchen scale (again, size Large) is 10.6 ounces, that is before laundering. Speaking of... Laundering instructions are not fussy..."machine wash warm, tumble dry low". I would describe the color as more of a "berry" color, not a dark purple. I think the color is well represented in the product photos, just not an accurate color description. In my head, "dark purple" is closer to the color of an eggplant. I am 165 pounds and around 5'9". I would describe the fit as "wish I had ordered the medium". Like I said, "yeah, OVERSIZED". This is a well made shirt; quality feeling fabric, proper, good looking stitching. Check out image number 4 on the product page; the bottom sides have a little style accent (the little white lined splits). I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision. I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

Nice, thick t-shirt

This shirt is really thick and I love the color. I also like the side slits by the hem. The lower shoulder seams are comfortable, but they give the shirt a more casual look. Since the description said the shirt is oversized, I ordered a size smaller than my usual size, and I’m glad I did. It fits just right—not too baggy and not snug. The feel is generally soft, but not super soft. It’s comfortable and made well.
