These run large not small

I love the length of these shorts. They are super cute on and cover. When I order eveyone said they ran small, so I ordered the size I thought I was based off other reviews a 6. I also ordered down a size as I usually wear a 3, and got a 4 as well. The 4’s were waaay too big ‘ These run large. For reference I am 5’7 and 134lbs. The 4’s were massive. So massive I ordered 2’s and even 0’s to try cause I really do think the shorts are that cute. I’ll post what size I ended up with in the end. Again I usually wear 3’s and not all 3’s are cute on , I sometimes have to size up.

Better Than Expected

I've been trying to find a good pair of jean shorts that wouldn't be so short on me. I can't believe the best pair I've found is Amazon's brand, but these are the only pair of jean shorts I own now and are by far the best. They're flattering, mostly comfortable, and cute. Definitely recommend these!

Comfy and cute!

I grabbed a pair of these shorts in a last minute Hawaii purchase and took them along in case my other shorts floated away in the surf (I kid!). My measurements are about a 43 waist/45 hip/26 thigh (I carry most of my weight in my lower stomach and right above where shorts sit). I think length and color were good however I do wish these had just a tad more stretch to then. Overall, for a $15 (I got them on sale) pair of Amazon Essentials shorts, I was pleasantly surprised! I will def buy more next summer!

Large is a size 12

Ordered a large, sizing chart claims large is 14-16, the shorts that arrived were labelled size 12 and were too small (I am usually a 14 so it is definitely not just an American sizing). When I went to my order email to submit a return, I noticed the description of the product said 'size 12' (and clicking on the link takes me to a size large on the product page so I definitely ordered a large). I will never understand why the product selection options can't just reflect what you are actually buying if that information is available and ends up on the invoice, and why it is so different to the sizing chart. This is unnecessarily confusing in an already treacherous minefield of inconsistency in women's clothing sizes. And with the product description clearly stating 'runs large, size down', just irritating.

Great shorts, highly recommended

These shorts are great! I have been struggling to find low waist shorts. Being post partum I have a bit of a baby pouch and high waist jeans make me look very big. These shorts also hug my curves nicely, no gap in the back. I currently am between a UK12 and a UK14 depending on the store. The M-L is not too tight, but tight enough for the shorts to still fit once I lose a bit of weight. I can really recommend these shorts, they are lovely.

Perfect Fit

Great fit, of course I haven’t worn these yet. I personally will only wear when I go abroad so will only be worn briefly but feel they will be perfect. Not tight on waist or thighs so believe I will find them comfy even for sitting in. Seem to be good quality & colour is exactly how I expected it to be. I’ve had a pair of size 16, am a 14-16 at present. Had also ordered a size 18 as believed they’d be small but found they are not.

Nice

These shorts are surprisingly nice. My only complaint is the size chart is hard to understand. I ordered a small and according to the chart that is a UK 10-12. The tag on the shorts says it’s a size 4. Somehow these fit.

Sizing runs small

Sizing is way off... all my trousers/shorts are size 12 or 14. I ordered the m-l to be on the safe size but too small.
