If applied correctly your skin will immediately improv
I am an avid researcher of all types of moisturizers for the body. I have purchased over 60 different creams, serums & lotions in the last three months. I was searching for a solution for my dry, rough feeling skin. I have some conditions rosacea, eczema, dandruff, psoriasis, bumps and I have realized that I needed to experiment with products instead of buying products based on reviews or recommendations. This is a essential product in my arsenal. I switch between products every few days depending on my skins needs. This product is used every other day. It must be applied to damp skin, rubbed in well and then be allowed ten minutes to dry. If you want to see results in less than a week use it two times daily follow same application instructions above. Wear a cotton robe and pants to keep the product from rubbing off. Your bumps will disappear faster than you would normally expect them too. It’s literally a week or less. I have had red, bumps all over my body since I was a child. Thy are hard, don’t go away. I was only able to minimize the amount of bumps on my body by applying lotion 3x’s a day every day (in high school) and they still never went away. I have used other lotions with lactic acid im them and the lactic acid helped greatly at reducing the amount of bumps on my skin however the lotions (recommended by dermatologists) didn’t moisturize and soften my skin at all. This will deeply moisturize your skin. Try this as an experiment…for 5 days apply the lotion to damp skin. Put it on on leg & arm and leave the other bare without any sort of product. After five days do a “ touch test “ and touch allover the treated areas then the untreated. You will be amazed at the difference. Then go in a brightly lit setting and compare the treated with the untreated areas, notice that there are not visible bumps, red spots etc.

Effective for KP at great price
I bought this product after using their 12% lactic acid lotion because I wanted a thicker cream and it’s the higher concentration. The lotion says it’s fragrance free/no scent but while it may not have any fragrance added, it most definitely has a strong medicinal scent. I have asthma and couldn’t wear it on my arms or even at night on my legs. I thought I’d try this product to see if it was any better, and it is definitely an improvement. There is still a similar smell just not as intense. The higher concentration and cream form totally offset this. It works really well on my KP. KP causes a build up of protein around each hair follicle that makes my skin super bumpy and rough. No regular lotion can penetrate it. For my whole life I’ve never been able to shave my legs without pain because I’d get lots of razor burns. But after using this product for a few weeks, it’s dissolved the protein which gives me smoother skin that I have no problem shaving. I actually use an epilator so combined with the cream I’m getting the smoothest skin I’ve ever had! This product also exfoliates well. I discovered on my skin it sometimes causes dryness but I solved that by switching it off every other day with hydrocortisone cream. That also works well on KP and is gentle with no scent, but it is slower to dissolve the protein. It works great at nighttime as an alternative product. I bought a large jar of it here on Amazon, as it’s more cost effective than buying those little tubes over the counter. This product is a life changer!

Exfoliating body balm
I have winter skin an an apartment that is always too hot. So my skin can get dry. I knew about the Amlactin brand but never considered this as an option for my body. I typically use body oil and on occasion use a body lotion with squalene. With the mention of 15% lactic acid my mind began to wonder as I use a lactic acid on my face. I am currently using a Kojic acid soap on my body and thought this Amlactin cream could definitely speed up my goal of shedding dead skin and lightening dark areas (inner thighs, underarms, elbows, feet) while softening my skin and revealing more radiant skin over time. After the 1st application, I could tell this product has great potential to help me reach my skin goals. My skin was quenched, and softened. There is a slight scent due to the lactic acid but that dissipates after drying down... my feet feel soft but the heels need alil more tlc (lol)! This is something I would apply overnight allowing it tike to do its job. And applying a lighter lotion in the AM or a dry oil. This is more like a balm and would definitely make you sweat if you were running errands or doing housework. I definitely recommend for women with drier mature skin who have similar goals to lighter dark areas/ patches. ????????

Works wonders
Great cream for dry heels and feet. No need to use a foot file if you use this. I use this twice a day and it started working right away . You only need a little bit of it so it goes a long way.

Finally, a solution to flakey skin.
This product is a good moisturizer, but there are other good moisturizers too. What makes this one outstanding is that it not only soothes dry skin, but it removes the old skin that flakes off constantly. This exfoliation capability is what has me sold on it. I gave the fragrance a 5 because there is no fragrance, which is just the way I prefer it to be.

Excellent for wrinkle reduction

Best product I have found in years for very dry skin
Has an odd smell which goes away in a few minutes. Keeps my skin hydrated much longer that any other cream. I have ichthyosis and this actually works to keep my skin from cracking!
