I hope to save money.

Did not work compared to other more expensive one. I did not write reviews earlier because I want to give it time to work, I have 10K gallons pond and now used up most of it in the bucket and the water still not clear and I have been. Leaning the filter to get Al the mud out.

Great stuff!

Worked wonders on our backyard water feature. Heavy rains and such has it all funky. This helped restore the balance and decrease the alge.

This is a must for me.

I have a natural 15,000 gallon koi pond with no UV lights. Using this once a week has been a game changer for me and maintenance. I have very little algae growth and a wonderful growing and expanding ecosystem. I never wanted UV since it kills both good and bad bacteria and I really like a natural pond. When it rains it stirs up the mud a bit but since I've been using this bacteria I've noticed a dramatic difference in the time it takes for silt to settle down. Now within 24hrs of a good rain storm, my pond is back to crystal clear even in the deepest part (which is 7 feet). Once a week I use 8 scoops mixed in a pitcher with some pond water and pour it directly into the middle of the air stone bubbles for dispersion. 2 scoops directly into the media filters. My pond before and after using the bacteria is night and day, and for me it's such an essential tool that I don't want to be without. It comes in a smaller tub which I bought for a long time, and I was happy when I found a bucket size suitable for my pond. Fish are happy, the pond itself is happy, and I'm happy. Great product guys!

good value and it works

This really helps keep a pond clear. I have 2 ponds: one above ground, one in ground, both about 6' X 7' X 4' (deep). One pond is in full sun and this really helps keep the water clear. I don't have to use as much in the in-ground pond but during summer, I always need some. Good product and good price.

Clearer water and no more string algae

I have an 11,000 gallon pond with waterfall and streams, and the pump runs 24/7 for good water circulation. Last year I was constantly scooping off massive blooms of string algae that would carpet the surface of the pond, so I decided to give this a try. It comes with a small scoop so measuring is easy. Within 24 hours of the first treatment the water went from murky to clear, and suddenly I could see the bottom of the pond. I don't use any other chemicals in the pond. I've been dosing weekly now for about a month following the recommended guidelines on the bucket, and so far the string algae has been little to none - overall a HUGE improvement from last year in both appearance and time-saving by not having to clean out the algae. We'll see how the rest of the summer goes, but so far I'm very impressed.

Good price and product for my koi pond

I usually use this product to prevent algae for my koi pond. In the early Spring, I need to use twice a week; therefore, I need a large quantity for my 18'x24' pond, and this is good price!

Start working at pond temperature above 18 C.

I used this product when pond temp. was about 12 C. Water almost did not clear. Used 4 applications with same result. When water temp. reach 18 C. Product started work very well.

It helps!

I used this product all summer. Every week once as directed. It has made the pond water better but I still have a ways to go. In defense of this product I must say that my pond was very dirty.(years of leaf accumulation and lots of fish in it) I will use it till the end of the fall season and next year and see if there is a a great difference.
