I bought the 2X because I am 5’o, but weigh 330#. Plenty of room inside to wear a bulky coat and clothing under it. Very tall made. But roomy for even a guy my size.

Long legs

No more cold deer watches!

I just did a dry run putting mine on. I see what they mean about the suit being a little big (long) in the legs but not an issue once you get situated. I bought a size L. I’m 6-0 195 lbs; suit fits good in the shoulders. The rubberized non-slip print on the foot bottoms look useless but again- you’re not walking in the woods with the suit on. Instant solution for putting feet in the legs - put a plastic bag over your boots. Feet slipped right in- even the right foot. Looking forward to staying warm and dry all day when sitting in my tree stand… without field testing it I’ll give it 4.5 ⭐️.

Another Great Arctic Shield Product

I already own and wear the Arctic Shield Classic Elite pants and coat, which have been excellent for long sits in the woods on cold days. I added the body insulator suit in order to further block the chilling winds and humidity associated with snowy/rainy Pennsylvania winter days in order to be able to sit still quietly even longer while hunting. I gave it a first try last weekend on a windy 27 degree morning in the Poconos. I walked into my spot then sat for nearly two hours without the suit on, allowing myself to cool down. When I climbed into the body insulator suit I immediately noticed a difference; within five minutes I was actually too warm since I was already wearing my other Arctic Shield gear. I'll likely only use the suit on days that less than 30 degrees since my other AS gear is plenty for anything down to that point for long, all day sits in the woods. But when we're out hunting in the late archery/flintlock season in January, this body insulator suit will definitely be tagging along. What I like: It's super warm, just as advertised. It's made with essentially all the same materials they make their outerwear with and i expect it to wear just as well as my other AS gear over time. Size: It's very roomy. I ordered an XL and realized immediately I could have gotten a large and been plenty comfortable. I like the extra room though, so I'm keeping it, rather than swapping for another size. I'm 6ft 190lb and could fit another of me in this thing. What I don't like: The webbing/carry strap that comes with it isn't my favorite but it works well. I would have designed it differently, but again, it works. Even though I'm not a fan of the carry strap I still give this product 5 out of 5 stars.

It’s big! But well made.

I bought this to possibly replace a sleeping bag and tent when motorcycle camping. Advertised as waterproof and wind proof so why not? All you need is a sleeping pad and you’re good for the night. I slept outdoors wearing just shorts and a t-shirt inside this suit, in the rain and wind and it was marvellous! Stayed dry and warm all night. Only downside is it was wet when I rolled it up and put it back in the saddlebag. I realize it’s designed for tree stand hunting. But sleeping in it is just another thing it’s good at. I’m only 5’ 9” tall but ordered the XL for extra room and is it ever roomy. As others have advised if you don’t want the legs hanging off you, order a size down. Very easy to get up and got number one in too if you’re a male. But I’m sure females could use it just as well. Highly recommended.

So-So Quality

Will keep you warm ONLY in dry weather. The external fabric is not waterproof, so it gets soaked in rain and in snowy weather. This is great for using in a closed blind, or on an open stand ONLY if the weather is dry. Quality: the hood doesn’t stay on as the snap-on buttons will come off the fabric at the very first time you pull on them. Mine had only 2 snaps left working after i pulled over the hood over my head the very first morning i used it. I will have it sewn on permanently - if you need to wear this, you will need to wear the hood also…

Sizing is very inaccurate

I'm 5' 9" and 210 lbs, and I ordered the large size. From shoulder to heel this thing is 72 " .the crotch is hanging to my knees. And I could fit about three of me in the thing, ridiculous. Now I don't know what size to order. ????
