The handle wrap is definitely thin, buy a lizard skin wrap when you buy this bat

A good bat, but unfortunately, it does not live up to the 2019 model. Really was hoping that it would be even better than the 2019 model, but it does not have the same pop.

This bat is hard to describe because it has some weight to it yet it is really lightweight. I think it's that the weight is concentrated in the right spot is what I'm trying to say. I took a group of kids out (their parents are all some of my good friends) and let them test out all of these ball bats I have, some on the low price end and some on the high end and I didn't tell the kids which bats were which. The Girls hated this one and none of them wanted to use it but the boys chose this as the second favorite. Their top pick as a simple $50 Youth bat. The girls complained that this one was just way too big but I get that, they are little girls ages 8-13 so I can see why they had problems with it. The boys however liked how it hit and this one had the most home run hits of all the bats but they boys agreed too that it was kind of heavy for them but of course this one IS an adult bat. I'd love to run this test with some adults this coming spring. Amazing!

This Rawlings Velo is like a dream come true! Amazed and beyond impressed. I took it to practice and was showing it off and wanted to really test it out. The grip is wonderful and protective and the aftershocks of connection is minimal. I noticed how lightweight but yet hefty this bat is. It’s hard to describe something as light but yet extremely durable at the same time but, this bat is. I was so shocked to see that after the connection, that the balls seemed to fly much further than I am used to. Who knew that it’d improve my performance? Completely and totally impressed. For my fellow players, this bat is absolutely worth the investment. I’m pretty rough on my equipment and it still looks brand new after every single teammate used my bat through practice. I would 100%, absolutely recommend this bat!

5 stars Rawlings ACP BBCOR 33 (-3)

A high-quality bat with some heft - both in price as well as weight. The grip is nicely wrapped - not too tacky and it provides a little cushion for your hands. Can't confirm the benefit of the carbon fiber cap at the end of the bat yet as it is still football season. As soon as the boys' football season ends, we'll get them in the batting cages to test out the action off the barrel of this high-end bat and I'll update the post.

AMAZING Bat

My oldest has started showing more interest in baseball, so I decided it was time to invest in a better bat. Whoa boy. This thing is amazing. I guess I didn't realize what a bat of this caliber was like. I almost feel bad hitting balls off of this thing. My son really likes the grip because his cheap one was made of this hard plastic that didn't really do anything. My son nor I don't really know much about baseball, as we're still kind of new, but so far he says he loves the feel and swing of this bat. The few swings I've taken with it feel really nice. My boy loves this bat. The quality is seemingly top notch.
