Too small
This backpack is too small. I can barely get two note pads, my wallet, keys and a pencil case in there. Forget trying to add an iPad or laptop. On the plus side, it has several pockets which are useful. I like Briggs & Riley but this was not worth the cost.

Quality product
Nice backpack. Expensive (for a small backpack) but worth it to me. My kindle fits in the 'Speedthru' front pocket perfectly so I don't have to take up space in the organizer. The RFI pocket in the back is perfect for sliding my cell phone and wallet in while going through TSA screening. I pair it with the matching B&R Rhapsody under seat spinner (either fits under seat in most aircraft) since my wife and I like to travel light. Only wish is that the straps quick disconnected from the bottom so they could be tucked in the back since most of the time this is connected to my roller bag and not used as a backpack.

Small backpack which holds my 13 inch Dell XPS, bose quiet comfort, wallet and camera
Nice bag. Took off one star for not having a side pocket for water bottle and for not having a key holder. Key holder used to be standard on Briggs and Riley back packs. Wished better color selection was available but the plum is okay. Should easily fit under airline seat. Stands up on it's own when packed and like that it slides over my carry-on handle (eagle creek brand). It addition to laptop, headphones, phone/ wallet and camera will also fit a light weight jacket or sweater. This is an "urban use" type back pack--not the type you would use for a hike.

Your essentials and more!
Just as advertised, this light weight, durable bag is exactly how it is described and fits the bill for my travel needs. Fits all my essentials and a few more very comfortably. Love the way it stands upright to access the interior pockets, but it also hangs close to the body so it doesn’t stick out and easy to carry. Also like the top handle to either carry that way or just pick it up. I’ll get a lot of years out of this great bag. This is my 4th Briggs and Riley bag, you just can’t beat the well thought out design. Price was right too! Highly recommend!

Well-made; a little blingy
I have only had this bag for a few weeks now and I'm really liking it. It's super sturdy, the leather handle at the top is strong and the zippers open and close with ease. For me, it's the perfect size. It fits my laptop and iPad nicely with just enough room left for supplies. I also find the interior pocket at the top to be really convenient for things I use all the time, but are more valuable, like earpods. My only critique is that I wish the zipper pulls and logo weren't chrome and blingy--I prefer something a little more under-stated. That said, it's not a deal breaker. It's certainly not a cheap backpack, but it falls into the "you get what you pay for" category for me, and it's worth the money.

I love it
Expensive and so worth it. I have traveled a lot and it has held up beautifully. I own a Briggs and Riley suitcase and it fit over the handle perfectly. This backpack holds way more than I thought, my laptop computer fits it and is secured on both sides. I slide this under my seat on airlines and have had no problems and still enough room for my feet. I only wish they offered other colors, like the green on their suitcases. The Burgundy is rich and deep, does not show marks easily but this would not have been my 1st choice.

'New bag' turns out to be used, with a stack of someone else's post it notes in it
The bag is very nice, however what was sold as brand new appears to be used with the inner pocket being filled with someone else's post it notes. I will be returning it post haste and buying one elsewhere. Especially in this period of heightened awareness over COVID its distressing to get a 'new bag' that someone else has been using and which obviously hasn't even been sanitized in anyway, or the pocket full of post it notes would have been discovered.

the weight of the bag
The weight of the bag is so light that you can hardly tell you actually have stuffed a lot of things in it. It's slightly heavy only when I put my laptop in it. Overall, I like the bag....for the size....for the weight and the look! Highly recommended!
