Awesome for small kids
My kids love this. They can build on its head and tail while also using the hippo as a "rideable" caddy for their toys. They love feeding the hippo their toys and sitting on him or using him as a table. The only issue I have is with the lack of motion of the wheels. I understand that to be safe for very young kids, it can't roll much, but this is taking that to another level.

Really good for age and size group
The included "lego" style pieces are not a choke hazard (too large for little mouths), but do have sharp edges, and would be painful if thrown or laid on. The light up eyes are fun for kids. The seat opens up and can work as storage for other toys, the included pieces, etc. A great way for littles to get mobile, but no support for falling backwards (so you'll want to supervise usage). Recommended if you're looking for something in this category.

The toy is still a great option for parents looking for a safe and educational toy for their little ones. but sound can be too quiet for some children's liking. The storage seat is a convenient feature for storing the building bricks, and the ride-on design promotes physical activity and balance development.

So many things to keep my toddler engaged - really great ride on toy.
This is a really cute ride on toy. It comes with a few blocks to play with and storage for more. My daughter has Mega Bloks already so this was a nice little storage for them. These Locblocs fit the Mega Bloks well and vice versa. There isn't an issue putting both types of blocks onto the various block builders located on the hippo. The hippo itself is really adorable. When you press the button on the handle, the eyes of the hippo change colors. The handle can be moved down for storage, but it does get in the way of the seat going up. The seat will not stay up completely and will slowly fall down since the handle is in the way. My daughter didn't find it bothersome though. The seat is made well and my daughter has no problem riding on it. The seat doesn't push down all the way which is good because it makes it easier for my daughter to open and close the compartment on her own and it also won't pinch her fingers if she closes the seat. The mouth of the hippo opens wide enough for my daughter to get her hand in there to take blocks out and to put a couple blocks in the mouth. It won't open super wide so you can't build a big tower on the mouth area, but that's okay, there are other building areas for that. The wheels work well on wooden floors, tile and also carpet, which was a big thing for me. Some of the ride on toys we have don't work well over carpets, but this one does. Overall I find this to be a very successful toy for my 2 year old daughter, it has various things to keep her entertained and engaged, and it's affordable too. I can see this toy lasting for years to come.

Super Fun
Let me start off by saying with the vibrant colors and sounds along with the blocks and the fact that the toddlers can ride it.....This is one of the most played with toys!! The rid on toy already came working and making a nose, as well with all blocks to build. The ride on toy also is made good and it's all plastic so it is simple to clean. I do love this for the littles and find it would make a fantatsic gift!! Highly recommend.

My toddler loves this!
My toddler and I both love this toy. Why does my 16 month old love it? Because he can sit on it, ride on it, play with blocks on blocks, and also pile blocks on the teeth, nostrils, and back of the hippo vehicle! He loves that it makes noises and the eyes light up and he'll just press the handle bar button just for fun to see the lights change color. I love it because it comes with its own storage for the blocks!! I live in a 900 sq ft apartment so I'm all about anything that can store toys. This is well made and my boy loves interacting with it.

Great ride on for 1-3yr old
Such a cute hippo! Open his mouth and feed him the blocks is a fun way to get toddlers to help clean up. There's enough under seat storage for more blocks so more could be added to this set. I haven't tried any other brand blocks to see if they work with it, but they seem like a pretty standard size duplo block. There is a button on the handle that makes it light up and say phrases. I wish the wheels rolled a little smoother but that's my only complaint. Great toddler toy!

Neat toy
I got the hippo for my nephew because it pretty much combines the things he likes. The toy hippo comes with large Lego type blocks which is something my nephew likes playing with, the hippo is a rideable car which he also likes and the hippo is also a storage container which is also something my nephew likes because he likes organizing and putting things away. The hippo is pretty well made and has some sounds and light up eyes. Overall my nephew likes the toy so I like it as well.
