Seat never moved in 5 years
Bought and installed it back in 2018 - this seat is sturdy, never moved a millimeter in 5 years. I like the fact that unlike painted press board seat on this one paint never chips off. Not as easy to clean at mount points as a removable seat I have replaced. Buying another one now. Price went up 25% in 5 years. New seat arrived. It has a slightly different mounting system compared to the one from 5 years ago. New system is called STA-TITE and it is pretty good. One word of caution, though. Don't follow instructions included with the seat, they mislead you on step one, telling to shear off lower portion of the bolt using two wrenches. This step isn't needed and will prevent you from doing a correct install. Instead watch YT video for STA-TITE installation and you'll be done with your seat install in under 5 minutes. My toilet design required to use a long 5/8" socket. Regular wrench could not be used.

Sturdy and easy to install
Easy to install. Would recommend using a socket ratchet if you have one. Seems very durable and easy to wipe down.

It is solid
This is a solid toilet seat! Being of the >200 pound class, I have found many “heavy duty” seats have a pressboard core that eventually gives up and breaks, which makes me have to hang my head and say once again, “sigh. . . . I broke the toilet seat”… This is a solid seat, which mounts easily (with the supplied two bolts) and the seat itself has 4 “points of contact” with the bowl - instead of the typical 2 points of contact.

It’s okay
It’s fine but it doesn’t have the slow close feature and slams down. It’s not as thin and cheap feeling as other seats we’ve had before though and it seems easier to clean.

How am I this excited about a toilet seat?
As a young adult, it's strange for me to be excited about things like ordering new toilet seats from Amazon, gleefully retrieving the box as soon as that sweet, sweet text message arrives to let me know that my day just got better. And honey let me tell you: this purchase did not disappoint. After completely changing the way I experience life with the Luxe Neo 120 bidet (oh my sweet baby Jesus), my old toilet seat clearly more so than ever needed replacement. I didn't want to invest too much since I'm in a rental, plus my dear roommate prefers to sit sideways on the toilet, so this seat was advertised as the best option that was easy on the wallet and promised to stay absolutely in place. Our old seat had way too much space between the lip of the bowl especially after I installed the bidet, was flimsy and cheap feeling, loosened constantly no matter how tightly you adjusted it, and just overall super duper gross despite much scrubbing from years of previous tenants' use. Also, whenever someone sat down, the space between the seat and the bowl gave you an uncomfortable sinking feeling and concerns were raised that the seat would break at the pivot point at any second. And thus the Bemis came into our lives from heaven above! (Did I just say a toilet seat was from heaven? Yes. Yes I did.) What a complete bathroom-and-life-changing difference. Installation of the Bemis seat was a breeze. Fits flawlessly with the Neo 120. The seat is not cheap feeling at all and is remarkably comfortable. There's a subtle lip at the end of the seat for the boys to easily lift. No sharp edges. It's almost... heavy? In a good way. A sturdy way. Reasonably quiet, even if you accidentally table-flip that lid. No more deafening echoes! Oh, did I forget to mention how perfect this toilet seat was? Because it's so perfect. With feeling so high quality and so far no wiggles, I am beyond happy with this purchase. Honestly if I had known it was this great, I would have been willing to spend double the money for this beauty. Do yourself a favor and upgrade that toilet already and transform it into the porcelain throne your refined butt deserves.

Complete re-review due to an issue.
I received my toilet seat today to replace a broken one. The new seat is well made and looks good, for a toilet seat that is. The size is right. The color is right. The mounting bolt is metal and that's a good thing. The issue. It appears that someone, probably at the point of being shipped or prior, ripped open a corner of the box and removed the required mounting hardware. This is why I gave 3 stars for the mounting system. The next issue? I called right away and they're closed for the New Years holiday. At the very least, I won't be seeing the hardware for this until next week. I'll post an updated review when this gets resolved and I have a working toilet seat again. I'm sure Bemis will help me whatever way they can since they're a respected name in the business. I wanted to mention that I did contact Bemis on their website to report the missing parts. I know it was during the holidays and I understand that and very much appreciated getting an email from them the day after New Years Day saying they would expedite the missing hardware to me. They stood by their word and I got the package a couple of days ago and replaced the temporary hardware with the proper parts and everything works, and looks, great! Now, if they can get me a light grey version of the same seat, they will have another purchase from me. I also upgraded my stars to five because it deserves a five!

A good sturdy toilet seat.
New toilets comes with cheap plastic seats but this one is a thicker plastic one, similar to my older toilets with Bemis seats.
