Best clamp for glue-ups

I bought some of these to try on my wavy wooden flags. I used bar clamps before and wanted to try a better style. It worked out worked perfectly! Best feature is your ability to use any length pipe to fit any size span you will ever need. Bessey is the name in clamps, you know they will last forever. I will be adding more to my collection!

Clamps work well - little rubber pad fall off stright away

It's a pipe clamp - been around for years. They added a small rubber pad, and it falls off easily. Put some glue on it to hold it on. Am a firm believer in good tools, a great tool would not need modifying to keep the rubber pad in place.

Great wood clamps

Bought these for cabinet making project.They were cheaper by $5 a pair VS Big Box Orange store and same model so waited the 2 days. Ive used these for a couple years now,best wood clamps Ive found for the $$

Plastic feet keep coming off

Work great but the plastic feet fall off all of the time and I’m constantly picking them up and putting them back on. May try superglue

It's a 5-Star for now

I purchased 6 pairs of the Bessey BPC-H12 1/2-Inch H Style Pipe Clamps about 3 weeks ago. I'm glad I did because they seem durable enough for DIY projects. I then purchased a few of the SUPPLY GIANT QDCM1236-6 1/2 x 36 Inch Black Steel Pipes a few days later. These Steel Pipes are definitely compatible with the Bessey 1/2-Inch Style Pipe Clamps (not fit issue that I'm aware of). I hope these will last me for a while. I chose these over parallel clamps because you can use longer pipes if you have to. 5-Star for now because they were reasonably priced and haven't found any fault yet. Fingers crossed!

Can't do without this. So convenient

Lightweight, sturdy, can make any size clamp by just changing the pipe size. Price very high

Good value for money and should last for many years

These came from America via amazon and were very well priced. These are not refined pipe clamps in any way but they work well enough and being cast iron should last for many years. As they are very good vfm I would be happy to buy again and almost certainly will once my workshop is ready.

Bessey 1/2" H series pipe clamp

Ordered these specifically to glue up raised panel doors and drawers. They are ideal as they have bottom clearance to tighten the handle against the workpiece. Added bonus is the no-mar clamp pads. I highly recommend this product.

UK option for Jay Bates style pipe clamp bench vise

I bought a pair of these to make a pipe clamp vise for my Paulk style workbench. Coupled with 500mm pipe (purchased separately, I got mine pre threaded cheaply on eBay ) they are now a plenty strong enough high capacity fixture. I lifted my design directly from Jay Bates. I used poplar for my jaws. Very adjustable and indeed removeable due to the spring mechanism.
