Good waffle maker makes two at a time!

After using this several different times now to make waffles for a family of 8 here are some things I've realized. There is no ON/OFF button just plug it in and it stars heating up. Also I've noticed that the first waffles you make once plugging in take longer than the second batch. Don't put too much batter because it's extremely hard to clean out of all the tiny crevices. I kind of eye balled mine and learned the hard way. Don't forget to use nonstick cooking spray before adding batter, I also learned that the hard way. Other than that it makes good waffles and i love that it can make two at a time.

Good waffle maker

Bought this 2 months ago and so far it works great. Makes nice waffles. Love that it does 2 at a time. Have to learn how long to leave them in for your preference of crispiness, we've gone about 4 minutes. Find the instruction book. If yours doesn't come with one, return it. It should. Our first one didn't, but it also was missing another piece. Amazon processed our return quickly and the new one is great.

I wish I would have purchased this waffle maker sooner. It works so good. I love the fact that it's double sided to make 2 at a time. Also the playe at the bottom to catch spills is a plus.

Pretty dang good

This waffle maker is great for what your paying. Makes a great waffle and super easy to use once it’s stops steaming just give it a look and should be good to go. Cleaning is a little bit annoying but I don’t use it that often so it’s perfect for me. Overall good quality

So in love with this double FLIP waffle maker!!

I didn’t even realize when I purchased this waffle maker that it can make 2 waffles at a time. It was a pleasant surprise when I figured it out! I’m completely blown away by the quality and efficiency. Made making breakfast so much faster! I definitely would recommend this double sided waffle maker to anyone making waffles for 2 or more.

came same day

my other waffle maker died half way though a large amount of doe. It arrived in 3.5 hours and I finished my doe. they turned out great. it would be nice to have a timer or a light or alarm sound when its done. I give they 7-8 min. to done

Mine never broke

I was hesitant to purchase this item because so many reviews claim it broke. I'm sure the plastic at the handle is thinner but I have used mine a dozen times and each time I'm making at least a dozen waffles and I'd say it works just fine. I think people who brake theirs must have forced the top open or closed but who knows. Mine works great

EASY TO USE WITH A GREAT RESULT

As soon as I received this item, I couldn't wait to try it. Having a history of preparing waffles over the years, everyone warned me that a waffle maker would be difficult to use if you had a cooking capability of two at a time. After following the instructions I was happy to sit down to great looking and great tasting waffles. Thanks for a great product. Recommend buy, try and enjoy.

Not terrible, but can certainly be better

I was replacing a National Presto that burned out after about 9 years of loyal service, so I'm mostly comparing to it. This iron seems less powerful, it takes twice as long to cook, but cooks twice as many waffles(though slightly smaller). I was hoping it would cook two waffles faster, our kids are hungry and there can be fights over who is next! I've also noticed an uneven cook pattern, it doesn't seem to heat evenly. The thickness of the waffles isn't bad, but the thickness of the parts that join the quarters is very thin and the waffles easily break into 4, this is only a problem for 5 year olds who demand a whole waffle. Related to this problem is the pressure that is placed on the cooking waffle, its much higher than other waffle makers and results in a slightly denser, not tough, but slightly harder feeling waffle. Thats reduced if the lock is left off, but even still there is a noticeable difference. It cleans up well, as expected. I probably would have got something else, but this will do the job.
