Hard to find replacement parts

I was torn about what rating to give this item. I have 3 and 2 of them work great. However, the one I bought from Amazon (the 1st I bought from Lowe's, and the 2nd I bought from Blaine's Farm and Fleet) has given me nothing but problems. The tubing cracked after the first use. I did find that the tubing I needed has an ID of 3/8" and an OD of 1/2". I got that replaced and now the pump has gone out. I've this one for less than a year and the others I've had longer. I cannot find the pump and am having a hard time find the pre-filters to replace my worn out ones. I have a plant in flower that is not going to make it unless I can replace the pump SOON. Love the results when they are working, but this one was not a good one from the start.

Easy peasy set up and operation. BUT, see update

Update June 3 2021 The "second" one leaked ! A lot ! I called Black Magic and they said to take it p with Amazon. Amazon promptly sent me another one that doesn't leak. THANKS AMAZON ! ------ Easy peasy set up and operation. I've had good results with what I put into it. I have it in a 2.3' x 2.3' x 63" grow tent with a MARS 1000W LED light. I have the light dialed in at 750 Watt equivalents. (Light is infinitely adjustable). I have had better results with this setup than I have had with stand-alone Aerogrow Farm Series and LettuceGrow Farmstand (30 plant configuration). Don't get me wrong, I have had very good results with Farmstand and Farm series by Aerogrow but this Black Magic pail system inside of the grow tent has produced excellent results, as one reviewer put it, "on auto-pilot". I keep pump/circulation system on 24/7 and lights on a timer set for 15 hours per day. I have it all connected to an APC Battery backup for power failures/surges/outages etc. I recommend this system and in fact just bought a second one with another tent and light. I use this for tall tomato and pepper-type plants.

Need to buy extra air pump

Quick and easy to assemble, however I had to buy an air stones do air pump for extra airflow for the roots.

Great Idea

The tubing was cracked on both the units. Check closely. Amazon did a great job handling it.

very shady product.

both my buckets aren't worth a hill of beans. One water keeps missing the plant and the other doesn't run at all. I'm a disabled person who is limited on budget and paid my last peenies to get this in hopes it would help. unfortunately it didn't.
