Perfect for dirty hair

I get two more days with my dirty hair wearing headbands with ponytails— I have fine silky hair and slipping is always an issue. These only slip a little bit all day for me if I use texture spray first.

Not absorbent, but quite comfortable

This headband is nowhere near thick enough to absorb sweat while working out. The fabric is very thin. It is also very stretchy, which makes this headband almost too loose on me (I have a small head). For me, this is a great post-workout headband (when I want a fresh one that's not too tight), or a headband that is useful to hold my hair back under a shower cap or when washing my face at a sink. It utterly fails, though, as a workout headband (I am a fitness instructor who has tried lots of brands. This sadly does not cut it!).

A moisture wicking head band that can be worn year round for added ear protection.

Sometimes, I have to place communication devices over my ears. The devices sometimes can become unsanitary thereby causing me to want to protect my ear area with something. Whether it is indoors or outdoors, moisture wicking hand bands have proven to be effective in this task. Typically, the devices are placed on top of the head band. In comparison to some other head bands, this head band has a lighter weight, has less thickness, and can be worn year round. The most competitive head bands that I have had that meet this standard, are made by Brooks and possibly Sweatvac.

Fits okay, I was worried it wouldn't be big enough for my head but it is. I made the mistake of ordering the narrow version when i think the regular 4" one would have been better. The cloth absorbs the sweat but I don't think it absorbs enough as it started to drip. a bit disappointing.

it works well and doesn't come off my head - which is awesome! - but I wish it was a little ...

I kind of wish I had gotten the thicker one, but that is on me. It seemed too thick but now that I have this one, it works well and doesn't come off my head - which is awesome! - but I wish it was a little thicker. Oh well. I'm happy it stays on my head when I am running on the treadmill.

Fell off while running

I returned this because it wouldn't stay on my head while running. Even wearing it right at my hairline, I found it would slip off within 5-10 minutes of moderate exercise. I think this would be great for yoga and other activities, just not what I need!

BondiBand narrow headband

Okay, I don't really love it, but I certainly liked the reaction I got from a "significant person" when I gave it to her. Apparently she has a wider Bondi product that she has to fold when she puts it on - the narrower band certainly looks a lot easier to don. She says the thinner band does a better job of wicking away and evaporating sweat, too - maybe I'll take up jogging and get one of my own to try...nah, no way I'm gonna look as good in an exercise suit (?sweatsuit, jogging suit? - whatever) as she does.
