Nice Peanut-Shaped Burp Cloths. 3x Variations of Two Fabrics Hemmed with Gray Gold Truffle Pattern
This review is for the BOPPY Pack of 3x 100% Cotton Burp Cloths (Color: Gray Gold Truffles). I received a free taxable sample of these burp cloths to review in my search for nice drool-absorbent burp cloths. The pack of 3x burp clothes arrived minimally packaged in a transparent plastic bag with a branded and decorated cardstock product card. If you plan on gifting this set, I recommend gifting the pack with a big ribbon tied around the pack and in a gift bag. Each peanut-shaped burp cloth measures on average 20 1/4" in length, 8 1/2" across in the center, and about 10 1/2" across the widest portions of each end. There are two main 100% cotton fabrics used in this set: a gray gold truffle patterned fabric and a thinner solid grey fabric. Each of the three burp clothes represents a different two-piece combination of these two types of fabrics: two pieces of gray gold truffle fabric; one piece of gray gold truffle fabric with one piece of solid grey fabric; and two pieces of solid grey fabric. The solid grey fabric feels lighter with a looser weave, and the weight of the burp cloth with the two pieces of solid grey fabric weighs in at 44 grams as compared to 50 grams for the burp cloth made up of two pieces of the gray gold truffle patterned fabric. The overall workmanship of the three burp cloths is good and all three of the burp cloths are solidly hemmed using gray gold truffle patterned bias tape. The gray gold truffle pattern utilizes four muted pastels of gray and gold semicircles to create a slightly wavy and pleasing look. This soft gender-neutral look is lightly accentuated by a sewn-in fabric tag with the Boppy name and pillow logo on one end of each burp cloth. The peanut shape of the burp cloths was effective in helping the burp cloths stay centered on my shoulder. The peanut shape also helped the cloths contour closer to my neck to provide additional coverage on the chest, back, and around the bicep from my drooly baby. Drool absorbency was good across all the various fabric variants, and I especially liked how soft and lightly cushiony the burp cloths felt. My only nitpicky suggestion for improvement would be to have all three burp cloths use at least one piece of the patterned fabric. Side note: there is also a matching wearable blanket that uses the gray gold truffle pattern. All in all, the BOPPY set of burp cloths is nicely constructed with a pleasing gray gold truffle pattern. I recommend this as a good option for burp cloths that will stay centered on your shoulder and absorb drool.

Love the size. Not as soft as I’d like.
These are big and very absorbent so I love them for that! You can see in the picture they’re almost twice the size as other burp clothes. The only downside has been the material is a bit rougher than I’d like and so I can’t use it to wipe babes cute lips after a feeding. I mean I’m sure he’d be fine but I prefer soft materials to touch baby’s face.

A must-have for newborns!
These burp cloths are so soft and absorbent! I love the color theme of gentle earth-tones that are perfect for either gender. They wash really well and get softer after each wash. These are an essential item to keep in every diaper bag!

Now you don’t have to dirty an entire blankie or towel. These are smaller but provide all the protection you need. Two newborns in the house. We need them!

I love how soft and absorbent this muslin is. I love the Boppy brand and these do not disappoint in quality. The print is nice and unisex as well. They would make a great gift.

Great Size
Definitely recommend these for their size. They’re a little thinner than I prefer, but not bad. The size is great if you have a baby that spits up. I like that all 3 of them have a different style pattern on them.
