So tough it drills through rock
This is an excellent bit. I used it with a hammer drill to secure landscape lights to a large rock formation I have in my driveway. I'm not sure what kind of rock it is, but I've been told it might be bluestone, so it's very hard. The mount for these lights require 3 drilled holes in the rock. For the first 2 lights, I went through 2 Tapcon drill bits, and 2 cheaper Bosch carbide drill bits I had in my tool box. All 4 of those snapped pretty easily. I bought 3 of the Bosch TC100 since I had 1 more light to install and I was afraid these would snap as well. Turns out I only needed 1. This bit went through the rock very easily (slow and steady), and I was even able to drill a few more holes with it to route the landscape wire around the formation. Very happy with this purchase.

Works Really Well - Buy Several for a Big Job
This bit worked really well for digging pilot holes for concrete screws in my home's brick facade. I drilled four holes and the bit was already starting to work a little slower. I think that's just part of drilling through a solid wall and no fault of the bit. I'd say if you are drilling more than maybe five holes, you may want to get more than one.

Price is reasonable
It was a "add on". Have not used it, but am familiar with the brand.

AHHHH...no more fighting with the hammer drill!
Not much to say here, I bought a cheaper brand and was starting to have issues when using the bits in my masonry drill. I hooked this up to my dewalt hammer drill and I am installing tap cons like butter! One suggestion is to realize that the length is only 3.5"s. This was great for me as I was using short screws, however may not fit all applications.

The second lasted 1 1/2 holes so for me I do NOT recommend these bits
I ordered two of these figuring I had to make 12 holes in cement. I made 3 hole's with the first one before it had no point on it. The second lasted 1 1/2 holes so for me I do NOT recommend these bits.
