FIT TIGHT....VERY CLOSE TO THE FACE

2-3 CM AWAY FROM EYES. This might not be a factor for everyone. I have very long eye lashes so this is a thing for me. The amazon try before you buy program didn't work out for me, but was very accommodating when it came to returning. I would try that service again. I decided to buy a different kind of glasses by DRAGON. Other than that I like the look, quality and price of these glasses. Proably great cheaper high quality fishing sun glasses. If they fit I would have kept them. I would try this try before you buy program again.

Best affodrably priced sunglasses out there

I've been buying these Calcutta sunglasses for almost 10 years now and am on my eighth pair as I typically lose them after a year or so. They've got to be the best affordably priced sunglasses out there. The lens quality is almost right up there with Ray Bans in terms of optical quality and they are very scratch resistant.

Cuts reflections through water.

Works fine for cutting out reflections on water surfaces when fishing. Cheap so if you loose them you don’t care

Great for years until the latest purchase

I’ve been ordering this pair of sun glasses for years. Always loved them but bought a pair in February and the first time they got wet the blue coating on the lenses rubbed off with a glass cleaning cloth.

Good Glasses for Driving But Expensive

I like these Calcutta Steelhead Sunglasses but find them to be similar quality to department store sunglasses like Foster Grant or Maui Jim sunglasses. The optics of the lenses are polarized, clear and sharp. The amber color is perfect for driving. The fit is snug but comfortable and they are lightweight. So why only 4 Stars? ... because these glasses are expensive compared to department store, truck stop or gas station equivalents. The lenses on my Foster Grant sunglasses were getting scratched up after a few years of use. I tried to find a similar pair with Amber lenses but couldn't find any that I liked. The frames were either too wide or lenses too big. The Foster Grant and Maui Jim glasses were all under $30. These Calcutta Sunglasses are almost exactly the same as my Foster Grant ones except for the skull and crossbone insignia on the side of the frames. The price of these Calcutta glasses at the time of my review is $40.78 + tax which in my opinion is high. Before purchasing these glasses I ordered a different brand which was too small so in the end I reluctantly paid the money for these just so I didn't have to keep looking. The bottom line ... these are good sunglasses at an inflated price compared to some others. I would heartily recommend them for under $30 dollars as a good buy and great value. At the current price of $41 I probably wouldn't buy them again.

Lenses not as pictured

Lenses not as pictured, seem okay. Time will tell.
