Liked the light, but one star on return policy

We had hired folks to come out and install the light fixtures. Both fixtures were installed, but when they went to get the glass covers, one was broken during shipment. Because the fixture was installed already, and because it would cost more money to have it uninstalled to return, and THEN pay to have the guys to reinstall the light, I sent a request to Amazon to please allow us to send the broken glass cover only. We were told absolutely not. We tried to find a glass cover to replace the broken one with our own money, and none was available. We were forced to order a separate fixture just to get the cover only. It was cheaper than paying for additional installations. Even so, the replacement cost us more than $40. I requested to Amazon to please contact the original seller to see if they would be willing to just send a cover, and I was told NO, not your policy. I think that this should be readdressed. We have had much more logical, easier return policies when working with companies direct. By the way one of the other covers is slightly faulty but we are forced to live with it, because of above difficulty. Going forward we will order these types of products only direct from the retailer.

Very sophisticated

I just remodeled my bathroom and I didn't want the boring lights that are sold at my local home improvement stores. Of course Amazon does not disappoint in the vast selection and variety of styles available. This happens to be a really nice light fixture however let me explain why I only gave it 3 stars. After my husband installed this we stood back to look at it and we noticed that the arms that hold each piece of glass appear crooked. After some very careful bending and readjusting we were able to make it all look straight. I'm not sure if the arms being crooked was a shipping or manufacturing issue but I shouldn't have to risk breaking a brand new item just to make it look the way it should. That aside when I walk into my brand new bathroom that fixture combined with everything else makes me smile.

We made an excellent choice

I found these at Lowe's and really liked them; however they were out of stock and it would have been about 5 to 7 days to get them in. I found them here on Amazon and was able to get them in 2 days with Amazon Prime - 3 of them. Wish I could brag and say they were cheaper than Lowe's but they were the same price. We are finishing our basement and we love the lights! They are perfect in our basement hallway. We also ordered the Canarm 3-light to put it over the bathroom vanity since the 1-light looked so sharp and contemporary. I'll add a review for the 3-light after my husband puts it up.

Nice looking lamp

Nice looking lamp. The mounting plate has "quick connect" junctions that you can use, but you would need an electrical box dead center of the plate to use it. They can be removed though. My only issue with the lamp is that one of the three glass squares is pretty visibly deformed. Another one is slightly so. You can turn them and you won't see it, but for the price, you wouldn't expect to find something like that.

Beautiful light but poorly designed

This light is very nice and functional, however they fail to tell you that the decorative nuts that affix the light to the base plate screws are not deep enough to accommodate the screw length and keep the base flush to the wall. This led to much frustration and anger. Now I have to try to find decorative in nuts of a deeper well to work with this. What fun! I would like to note that I have never posted a product review and I'm quite handy but this drove me to the breaking point.

Canarm light

I really like the design however the execution seems a little cheap. The 3 metal light holders were bent when the light arrived and they had to be tweaked to get them to look right. Overall I like them and for the price they will work just fine.

Bent and broken.

One of the bracket pieces was bent and the globe was broke I the corner. Extremely fragile glass.

Nice modern look

Replaced the ugly old style "hollywood" fixture that uses 5 exposed round light bulbs, popular in the 70's with this smaller modern looking 2 lamp fixture. Used LED bulbs which are plenty bright enough. Looks nice in my newely remodeled guest bath; easy to connect and mount with included hardware.

Good value and modern style

The lights were easy to install and allow us to properly light up our large 5 pce ensuite. The quick connect wiring was appreciated as well as the quality of the product. Delivery was 10 days late (postal disruption) but would have been nice if Amazon had noted this when we selected free shipping. Product is great, so that makes up for the late arrival!
