Short cord - only 1 temperature setting

Product overall did its job - I did not like short cord needs at least 15” so you can towards you on counter and provide space from you and wall to plug cord in - also I didn’t care for just one setting. Also plates I wish you could Remove to clean better. I have it a 4-star I didn’t like when I had lid up it slammed closed 2 times. Good thing my hand was not in there to place food.

Makes the best pressed cuban sandwiches without all the hassle. Wish the top would have an adjustable leveling on it. The back sandwich gets more pressed than the front due to the design.

Not bad for the money

The Chefman Electric Panini Press Grill and Gourmet Sandwich Maker is not bad for the price, overall it's a good little maker, but it does have a few drawbacks. It claims, "ADJUSTABLE FOR ANY OCCASION: Floating hinge adjusts to accommodate any size sandwich – thick or thin". Let's just say that's not 100% true. You have to work at getting a 1-2" sandwich to stay put under the lid as it wants to push it forward out of the maker. The lid didn't float well in my opinion. I had to hold the sandwich in with a knife while pressing the lid down to get the top to "grill". We got the hang of it, but it's not the easiest to use for anything more than a regular grilled sandwich. I found it really messy and time consuming to clean (and I didn't spray it with oil). It does get very hot, and it does grill nicely (with help), and I suppose for the price it's not bad, but I don't recommend it for panni's. I'd put the money towards a better sandwich maker.

Does What it Needs to do

Good product, gets the job done for a low price. Only gripe is that one side seems to get hotter than the other, leading to uneven cooking. Other than that, it's great. I recommend if you don't need any frills with your panini press :)

Love it !

Preheats SO fast ! The only thing I don’t love is when I flatten it to make it a ‘ grill ‘ one side doesn’t get as hot as the other side . Besides that , I’ve made paninis , hot dogs and burgers on this and works well :)

BETTER THEN THE GEORGE FORMAN GRILL ????????????

So I got this because I had the George Forman grill and loved it ❤️. I hardly used it tho because it was so small and could not fit 2 sandwiches ???? it was purple ???? then stolen from me from a goon I use to know . Now I got this one and let me tell you that this one is better. If you take a look at the sandwich ???? you will see it's like an 8 inch bread ????. I made 2 in this grill . I made 1 for diner and 1 for lunch ???? tomorrow. They were ready within minutes . For real I swear it took me longer to prepare the sandwich ???? then to cook it in here. The grill line pattern looks so amazing and like a pro made it. I absolutely love this grill . I would so recommend ???? to everyone . I promise you will be so shocked at this result of speed and space area. It also opens up to a full flat so you have 2 flat grill spaces to cook like 8 burgers ???? ????. I'm not kidding it's unbelievable. The cleanup as well if you see my picture thats melted cheese and i literally took a damp cloth and wiped the grill. I swiped the cloth on each grill line 1 by 1 without zero scrubbing or force . No sticking , no issues, no swearing when cleaning . ???????????????????????????????????????? 5 ???? ???? ⭐️ ???? ???? ✡️ ????

Now we have toasties every day

I've been wanting one like this for years but just didn't have the kitchen space. Now that I got it, my pans get a lot less use - yes we do make a lot of toasties now, but also used it for meat, rosties, peppers and other stuff and it's been great - the top does heat a little less so you better flip it but I don't see that being an issue. Everything came out of it juicy and well cooked through. The only downside is that the grills are not removable - this seems to be the trend unfortunately, but cleaning it is not much worse than just an inconvenience so still really happy with it.

This is my first time owing one of these there is a lot of cooking space for the size of the unit. I live in a condo so I can't cook outside this is perfect it's easy to use and clean.good value for your money !

Small but mighty

Update: Decided to update my review & add a few pictures. I have used this press everyday since I got it. I am still very impressed with it. Heats up quickly with clear light indictors hot and cool, so easy to use and clean up . I can fit 2 smaller wraps on it at the same time. This performs better then my old Wolfgang Puck one did. Very glad I purchased this. ****** I wasn’t sure about this with the negative reviews about how small it was, but decided to take a chance as I’m the only one using it. It just fits my wrap to warm it up fully open then once the wrap is made and it put it back in and close the lid it’s amazing how quickly it works. It has a on and off light indicator unlike my last one. Is so easy to clean and has a little drop tray with it, I find the handle doesn’t heat up to like my old one did. If you are looking for one to do 2-4 large wraps or sandwiches at the same time it’s to small for that, but for one or two small wraps it’s great. Doesn’t take up much counter space which is a bonus. Overall I’m very impressed with it.

Wish it had removable parts like a lot of other panini presses

It works great, honestly nothing wrong with it other than the fact that its a bit of a pain to clean... Would be a brainless 5 star if it had removable parts - I know the description says it doesn't but this is annoying enough to still be worth mentioning
