It’s perfect, trust me.

Firstly, this is truly a one movement setup and collapse! It’s wonderful. Secondly, the zip in “bassinet” is amazing. No clips to fuss with, once it’s attached you know it’s attached AND it can stay attached when packed away! We have 5 children and have owned 8+ pack n play/play yards this one is by far the best we’ve purchased! I rated it three stars for travel ONLY because it’s a bit bulkier than some other options and honestly we still travel with the little Cosco cheapie. We use this one to allow our newborn to room in. It’s the perfect height when pulled next to our bed. Also, The mattress (not an additional purchase, the mattress it comes with) is great! Enough padding to offer comfort not so much to be a suffocation hazard. You can’t go wrong with this purchase, we are very impressed.

INSTANT means Instant!

Wow, no kidding this is an instant set up playard. Same with the close. It's a single action and the whole thing opens ready for use. What I like is that the bassinet is in place when you open it. No set up, no extra steps. AND when you're ready to fold this thing, it folds WITH THE BASSINET in place! No awkward multi-step process. Just push and it sets up. Pull and it folds. Instantly. Pretty cool!! :)

Easy to set up and put away; feels like it will last too!

I was impressed by this playard right away! Here’s why: - It’s a little heavy, but the handled carrying bag makes it much easier to carry around. - The zipper for the bassinet insert feels very sturdy and like it will last a while. - The mattress is very nicely padded, although you might want a lightweight topper to help pad the creases where it folds. - Putting it away was even more efficient than setting it up - you can truly collapse it with just one hand using the pull handle in the center! I was really impressed with how quickly it pulled in on itself. One other note: The safari themed play panel (available as an add-on purchase, not included) looks cute, but it would be nice if there were some other styles/themes available to purchase as well! Based on the price, I would say this is an investment product — it might be pricier than some other models up front, but I think in the long run that will pay off in terms of ease of use and sturdiness. Based on my experiences so far, I think this playard will hold up really nicely over time.

Not a lightweight playard

The Chicco Dash playard is very quick and easy to setup! The playard when folded up in carrying case is not lightweight, so that makes lugging it around when traveling a pain. I like the raised bassinet feature for when baby is younger and not yet sitting up. The size is just slightly larger than your standard pack-n-play. This playard is well made and very sturdy. The mattress that it comes with is sufficiently padded, I did not need to add additional padding. Overall a great product!

Nice, easy setup

This has a very easy setup. Even the inner bassinet is easy to connect. It's sturdy and the quality is nice. My only issue with this is that 200$ is a bit much for such a basic setup, it doesn't come with the other accessories like a changing table, removable bassinet/rocker, diaper organizer like some other pack n plays do at that price.

Love this playard!!

I'm a huge fan of Chicco and have used many of their products over the years. I was so excited to get this playard because I knew it would be amazing. Let me say it did not disappoint! It's super high quality and very well made. It was easy to set up and even easier to take down when not in use. It is a bit heavy though, so traveling with it or moving it around could be a pain. Luckily my husband can take care of that for me and I don't really move it, it stays in one place so far. This playard is huge, much bigger than your average playard. It has plenty of space for baby to move and be comfortable. The bassinet part has nice cushion and is just the right amount. My baby sleeps perfectly in it. It's sturdy and durable, and I feel good about my baby being in it and being safe. I do wish it came with some extras , but it's really all you need if your just looking for a simple playard. Overall I'm very satisfied and would recommend it.
