Sooooo nice
This is such a nice cooler! We had a little mixup when we got it. They sent us five lids in by mistake at first. LOL. But they fixed it very quick and sent us the real one. Absolutely love this. It looks very stylish, and it holds temps so well, and is really great for parties

Perfect in the open as it can be opened from two sides.
The seal is nice on these. You actually have press down the lid to close fully and before you latch it. The latches operate easily and this cooler opens easily from either side. You can remove the lid entirely and it's very easy to remove and reinstall. It also very robust. I can see this being a seat as well. The handles are ergonomic for carrying. This gets heavy when filled but the handles are easy on your hands. I suggest asking a buddy to help carry when it's full for convenience. But not necessary. Customer support is an email away (I have other East Oak products). They respond fast and answer/address questions and issues just as fast.

This is stylish & awesome
The media could not be loaded. This cooler is well made and a very stylish design. I like how it's different with it being rounded vs the standard box cooler style. This actually was a bit bigger than I expected when I test measured the sizing- big plus! I haven't put drinks in it but I did use it to hold fish, shrimp, scallops & ice before a cookout legit HOURS later! It kept everything cold & without a lot of ice. I was even able to carry it myself loaded down & I'm 5'1, 140lbs. The lid is detactable which is cool & a very convenient factor. I actually didn't notice it at first ???? It is also strong enough to hold up to 400lbs when closed - so pop a squat! You got a sturdy seat. It's like a 2 for 1 special. The color is nice. I chose the ivory white. When I ordered that was actually the only color shown at the time but I love it! I now see there's more options & they all look very nice. The cooler has a drain plug and everything about this cooler is so easy to clean. The handles are easy to grip and do not feel cheap at all. Even when weighed down I didn't feel like anything was going to rip or break on me (it's happened before). I can't find anything wrong with this cooler & it also seems to be Catahoula approved ???? Believe me you won't be disappointed!!

Very unique, versatile, solidly built cooler!
The media could not be loaded. This review is for the East Oak 25 quart, Rotomolded hard cooler. First of all, this is a very unique and attractive design! I've never seen a cooler quite like this before. Basically round in shape, with a lid that can open either way, or be removed completely. It seems to be very solidly manufactured, and in addition to being a cooler, could be used as a side table by the pool, and is sturdy enough to be used as a seat. It has hand grips on each side, and can be carried fully loaded by one person, and has comfortable rope handles, so that two people can carry it. The lid opens and closes easily and securely, and has a nice silicone seal. The lid is flat on top, with a slight bullnose around the edges. It also came with a well-written and comprehensive instruction manual. I loaded it up 3 days ago with ice, and about 25 cans of soda and beer. It kept everything ice cold (without adding any more ice) and could probably go for another day. About halfway through I did let some water out, though they say it doesn't hurt to leave water in. The drain plug seals well, and did not leak. At the top, the walls are about 2" thick, and get a bit thicker as they go down. I'll mainly be using this in my motorhome, to carry bottled water and canned drinks. Also as a backup in case my absorption refrigerator fails, I can load perishable food into it, inside containers. In fact this is a good backup cooler for home, if the power goes out. The handles and hinges are all replaceable, if anything should happen, and this cooler comes with a 3-year warranty. So I'm 100% pleased and see this is a solid, versatile, high-end cooler. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It Works Well
Holds a decent amount - check Keeps things cold - check Has a drain plug - check Seals tight - check Easy to clean - check Easy to move around - check Why is this better than a conventional chest cooler? The shape makes it much easier to clean. Combine that with the drain plug, it's very easy to clean this. It does stay cold. It really stays cold if you prep it. For instance, we have a couple reusable cold packs. We drop those in here for an hour before we need to use it. Those chill it down and make the ice last longer. This is a great mid sized cooler. It's hard to really find a problem with it.

This is Much Bigger Than you Might Think!
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this East Oak cooler! I own several Otterbox coolers along with other name brand coolers, and so when I say that this is a great cooler with a strong build I mean it! The design is different than anything that I have seen, and the hinges allow you to open the lid from either side. There are two different ways to carry it, but because it is a circle and is so wide I could see some people having a difficult time carrying it if it were fully loaded. I could definitely see having to use some team work to carry it and also having to use the rope handles. Inside the cooler there are grooves so that your stuff doesn't slide around in it. The drain plug has a bungee cord so that you don't lose it, the top lid has a thick rubber seal that keeps all of the water and ice from leaking, and the sides are thick because the company has used premium refrigerator foam insulation surrounding it. It's strong enough to stand on or sit on by a campfire, the ice retention is 7-10 days if you keep the cooler out of the sun and had it pre chilled for 24 hours before using it. The average ice retention under normal circumstances is 5-6 days. The name of the company has been embossed into the top of the lid. On the bottom there are four places that you could screw in wheels, a stand or legs, but I'm not really sure. I would think that it's for wheels or to go on a cart. This is a great cooler that will offer the big brand names some serious competition! I love it and highly recommend it!
