So perfect to protect leather seats from tears, dents

Bought these for my new car with leather seats. My last car had leather seats and when my daughter moved from car seat to booster seat, I realized that the weight of her in the seat for so many years caused tearing and permanent indentation in the seats. I was proactive to avoid that this time and these have worked perfectly for me.

This may be the one!

Been looking for a seat protector for a while and never liked the ones I got, this be the one. It feels sturdy and with good padding. I just installed it so I can say about the functionality yet, but I'm happy with what I got. It does smell strong when you open it, I left it outside for a few hours an it really improved the smell, hope this helps you too.

I have had to replace my seat covers .. this product solved the problem of car seat punctures and leather creases … fits any size car seats from infant to toddler … I have 3 grandsons.. 10 months to 4 years .

What I was looking for

After trading in one car for another and then removing the car seat (Britax Marathon) to see the dent it left in the cloth farbric.. not again, especially that the new car had leather. After reading and researching (towels to cutting boards), this product seemed to fit the bill pretty well. Installation is fairly easy, especially with rear facing baby seats (graco snugrides) because you are only using the bottom half. For the convertable (Britax) install is more of a challange because the back is not tall enough to cover the contact area, so I first install the bottom half, put seat into place, loosely, and then slide the back half of the seat saver into place (about 4-6 inchs separation from the bottom half). This still works well because the child seat does not have much contact in the lumbar area of the auto seat). For the family with three car seats or soon to be three wide - this poses another problem. We just had twins (thus a new car), the babys are outboard with the convertable (3yrs) in the middle, room is tight enough. The seat savers are a struggle because they do not fit three wide (way to wide) so you end up putting savers and seats into place loosely and then fight to get the latch system clips into place (savers WILL overlapp by a few inches) and then get everything tightened down. I have yet to see or find it but it would be nice if Prince Lionheart made a full bench seat saver, simple a clean solution to the threewide issue. I would recommend regardless of any shortfalls mentioned above. Good luck and hope this helps.

Wide, 2 tone

As expected with a few minor problems. I bought these for my mini clubman to put under the evenflow amp big kid boosters. I took one star away because the black color is grey underneath and that grey shows on the edges/lip around the perimeter which really detracts from the sleek aesthetic I was hoping for. I took another star off because they are REALLY wide and they aren’t non skid. What this meant for me is that they hid the seatbelt buckle receiver and would continually need to be adjusted by my kids! I solved this by using seatbelt extenders which I already had purchased. They keep the receivers accessible and also act as a sort of stopper that that the lip of the protector hits up against. The extenders combined with the weight of the boosters fix my issue but the cost of these + the cost of the required extenders makes these unreasonably priced in my opinion. Bottom line, if you seats are bucket (aka heavily concave), narrow, you’re going to want to measure and count on some movement + you may need to plan on getting the seatbelt extenders from amazon (I paid ~17 for 2).

Awesome product, why didn't I find this earlier?

I do not get the Velcro joint between the two pieces. But it holds solid and the pad works great. The bottom actually has a lip around it which will catch a lot of spills that pass through the car seat. Yes, we also said we would not let our kids eat in the car. With us also, that lasted all of two weeks. We all know how nasty those car seats get and how many crumbs we vacuum out of our automobile's seats when we remove the kids seat. Well, this pad should catch a lot of that. Now as to function for which I bought the item. To prevent depressions in my new Ford F150's seats. Works great. The safety seat strapped in tight and firm (no wiggling from side to side). My process involves sitting all 225 pounds of myself in the kids car seat, and pulling on the strap while rocking side to side. I get those things in there tight. Well, last week when I installed the kids seat, it sunk down probably three inches into the Ford truck's rear seat cushion. Today when I put this under the safety seat, it might have depressed all of 3/4 of an inch. And I promise you, it is as tight as ever. Not sure about the front lip of the pad sticking out at the front of the seat. It might provide foot support for the three year old. But, I suspect it might hit the six year old at the back of his calves. May have to tuck the front edge back under. Seriously considering ordering two more for my wife's car even though it is older and already had five years of kids car seat action.

Great purchase, been using it for 3 years now without a problem

Fits pefectly under the baby seat. The back side is ok but it could be a bit bigger because it gets a bit short in some vehicles. The bottom side is perfect and it's shaped to retain liquids, etc. Although the manual warns you about the possibility of color transfering from the seatsaver to the vehicle seats under high temperatures, it never happened to me and I'm from one of those countries where you can get 40ª in summer (probably 50º+ inside the vehicle).

IMO, Best product in the market!

This is my second Prince Lionheart car seat protector. Bought this for my new car with cream colour leather seat. It is thick enough to protect leather seat from indents, and it is big enough to give coverage for leather seat at the back of my car. My first one which is already 3 years old and is still going strong and doing the job well.

Quality - you get what you pay for

Really good quality, very thick and sturdy. We just bought a new car so wanted a really good seat saver. So pleased we went for this one and not a cheaper option.
