My baby loves this “crunchy” toy. And my other two daughters love to give it to him and tell him the caterpillar story that goes with it. machine washable, vibrant colors, I am glad I found this for my baby.

Great combo!

So cute! It crinkles, jingles, and has a teether as a tail! Great colors and textures! My baby is 3 months old and cant figure out how to hold it for long just yet but I can already tell he loves the jingle it makes. I bought this and the book (the book is separate) because I thought he would enjoy it even more after reading the book. His eyes lit up when we read it, and I showed him the toy after. He looked at both back and forth for a while, so I think he might recognize just the face because the caterpillar toy is a lot more colorful and decorated than the book character, but the face is similar. The only thing I am weary of is that there were shimmery fibers all over the chewy part when I first took it out. You can rinse them off but it makes me wonder how many of these fibers continue to come off the toy over time and become ingested. Not sure if it is a valid concern or not though. Overall i feel like this offers a lot of stimulation for a baby and its a good buy.

Favorite toy!

This has been one of my baby’s favorites since birth! At first she liked the bright colors and sounds (it rattles and crunches). As she got older, she liked to squeeze it, then shake it herself, then chew on the soft part, then the teether. Now she likes when her caterpillar “acts out” the book, especially when it pops out in the beginning! I say “POP” and toss her toy in the air and catch it. She thinks it’s hilarious! She’s now 8 months old. So even if she decides she hates it tomorrow, we’ve definitely got our money’s worth! I gift this to all my expecting friends!

Super Cute

I bought it as a gift for a new mommy so I can't comment on specs for the baby, but I can tell you that it's super cute and looks like a perfect teether/toy for a baby.

Great baby gift, just the right size for little hands.

My son was given one of these when he was born and I have since bought several to give to friends' new babies. They are the perfect size for little hands, have a quiet little rattle which would never be too annoying for adults, have various different textures and the green plastic part at the end of the caterpillar is designed for chewing. One slight improvement I would have liked is a small loop or something which can be used to attach it to the buggy/car seat etc. Other than that, it's a great toy for any baby.

Die Raupe Nimmersatt - ein klassischer Rasselspass

War auch in meiner Jugend ein Fan der Raupe Nimmersatt. Da war klar, dass auch meine Kleine frühzeitig mit ihr in Kontakt geraten würde. In diesem Fall mit der Rassel/Beiss-Version der Raupe. Anfangs war sie ihr noch etwas zu schwer bzw zu gross zum Umgreifen. Aber mittlererweile, seitdem sie 4-5 Monate ist, ist die Raupe zu einem ihrer Lieblingsspielzeuge mutiert, das Scheppern taugt ihr sowieso, und auch das Beissen auf der gummi-fläche beim Zahnen ist besonders angenehm. Klare Empfehlung für diese Kindheitserinnerung!

toll

meine maus hat diese süsse knisterraupe sehr gerne, sie ist leicht, raschelt, knistert. das beissteil am ende hat sie noch nicht verwendet... aber ohne beisserchen geht das auch schlecht =) ich habe die raupe gleich bei 30 grad in die waschmaschine gesteckt und sie hat es überlebt. irgendwo hab ich glaub gelesen, dass es in china hergestellt wird?! sie riecht nicht chemisch und hat bisher auc noch nicht abgefärbt
