They love, but not for chewing

My dogs all *love* this ball. Like, LOVE it. They also usually love to destroy their toys, sometimes the same day, or they might wait a week or two. It took them two years to decide to intentionally tear one of these apart, I guess they just didn't want to. They like to play tug with it, so it did have some threadbare spots, but overall, for them, it basically lasted forever. My big staffie can grab anything, but my smaller 40 lb dog loves that she can get a good grip on it because it's foam under the fabric. Such good value and now will be a go-to for animal shelter toy drives or friends' new adoptees. Super recommended even for dogs who aren't big on "fetch" and other ball games.

Fun for playing fetch indoors

My puppy loves chasing this ball to play fetch indoors. When it’s raining outside or its too sunny, it is easier to play with him indoors and this ball is great addition to his indoor playtime toys. The ball is big enough that he cannot gulp it (mine is a large breed puppy so he is already huge and I am worried about what he may gulp down). It has threads which are fun for him to pull when he is bored and the ball is soft enough for him to chew on since he is teething. Great product.

Worth it

I've bought 3 of these now because my dog likes to rip the covering off. This is a great way to get out their energy when it's a rainy day or you just don't feel like getting out of the house. We throw ours down the hall for her to chase or against the wall and she'll catch it. I will continue to buy these as long as she plays with them. The sound isn't very loud when it hits something so it shouldn't disturb others.

Fave toy

This is one of our dogs most FAVE toy he will eventually tear it up but that’s his entire goal it also takes him a while to eventually break it down to do that he spends hours a day and months trying. We have to purchase this ball multiple times a year absolutely worth it. It is a very sturdy dog toy and soft enough to throw inside when it’s raining and can’t go out. Will hands down be purchasing again & again!

Not for a chewer

It is colorful and light. Not heavy enough to knock anything over. Perfect for indoor play. Unfortunately my dog is a chewer and the cover was off the styrofoam in half an hour. We still have the cover and I’ll throw it from time to time for distraction. But this ball never stood a chance. It’s too bad since she’s had 3 of the brand’s outside rubber balls. She chews them like bubble gum but they never break or deflate. For indoor play we just throw her stuffies, which are all in various forms of dismemberment.

My dogs LOVED this, just a little too much

I really like this brand of dog toys, always well made and sturdy. Unfortunately, my dogs loved this fluffy ball so much I feared for my cat’s safety after one session. I will say, as excited as they were, my dogs weren’t able to tear this ball up. So ????????. But, we’re sticking with non fluffy, non furry Chuck It! toys from now on.

German Shephers. he Carrie’s it like. A baby.

The ball is tearing at the seams having to throw them away. I have to buy more because my boy GSD loves them. He is not aggressive with them, holds them very gently. Very disappointed; I buy so many these were a waste of money.????

One of 2 of my dogs favourite ball.

Love the brand. Great indoor ball, as it’s soft. “Fringes” make it easy to grip and catch, and at the same time extremely durable. We keep an extra one in our car.

Picture of the ball destroyed in 5 mins

This ball is terrible as destroyed in 5 mins by my 12 month old malshi and was shocked polystyrene inside that he started to choke on. I order it because he loves chuck it balls, however he has the hard rubber ones so will stick to those from now on

'Chuck it' in the bin!!! Waste of money!

I purchased this ball for my 13 week old puppy, when I received the ball I took it out the packaging to find the material around the ball had all the stitching out. The ball is a waste of money and might as well 'chuck it' in the bin!! I contacted the seller who then contacted me to say it's not there problem but to contact amazon! Great help thanks!!

Does not resist a Newfypoo for long.

We have a ginormous Newfypoo puppy and she is totally obsessed with ball games. However, throwing a normal ball about indoors is not a very good idea. That is why we got this soft ball for indoor play. It is surprisingly large (so is our dog :-), but does indeed not cause damage to TV’s, glass doors etc and so in that respect it is excellent. But after 24 hours our pup had managed to remove the textile cover that was fitted to the ball, underneath the ball is made of some sort of white rubber, which seems most resilient to the gnashing jaws of a Newfypoo, so although it looks a bit odd the ball is still going despite losing its cover.

Not destroy-proof

My border terrier opened this on Christmas day and exclaimed excitement of this excellent floofy toy Santa had bought him. Unfortunately for the floofy toy, my pup's sole purpose of the day was to destroy, destroy, destroy. Firstly the floof was picked off and left on the rug for Mr Hoover to clean then the chewy inside was enjoyed as bit by bit he picked out the soft foam inside (more work for Mr Hoover). The smaller, harder ChuckIt balls are practically indestructible this ball, however, is not. If you have a toothless, tiny animal that would like to chase a soft ball around the house then this is the one for you. If you have a piranha puppy whose only job is to destroy any thing they can get their teeth on then go ahead and buy this but warn Mr Hoover in advance, he's going to be a busy sucker!

Terrier-proof - not!!

Our 2 year-old Jack Russell shredded this within ten minutes of being given it. The outer covering is a towelling-loke mesh which clearly isn't very strong. That said, he is enjoying playing with it four days on. Definitely nothing like as robust as other Chuckit products we have purchased. Just because it is designed for indoor use doesn't mean that it can be any less durable than their outdoor products. Very expensive for what it is.
