Keeps everything Cold

This is my favorite brand of bottles for my water ???? This product keeps everything cold for over 12 hours! Definitely amazing. One draw back is - the water is hard to get out. I have messed with the straw taking it in and out- tightened and loosened the lid to check suction but to no avail. Also I ordered the big one and it’s heavy when full. My own problem but something to consider when ordering. (I put mine in my grandsons infant seat which already weighs a ton and then add that and wow ????) The cup is holding up well even after numerous washes.

Noise

Every time you drink though the mouth piece it makes a loud noise and it’s embarrassing. Sometimes you can get any water to flow through the straw at all.

Awesome, now I need another one

A Contigo with a straw. what more could you want? Maybe a handle. Drinks stay cold and no button to push. Great for my elderly mother if she could just remember to suck, not tilt. ????

I don’t like the straw….

A chute bottle would serve you better. The straw is cumbersome and it can be difficult to drink out of. Good quality stainless. Consider a Corksickle bottle instead.

Not as good as the previous version

I had several Contigo water bottles that I loved, but seem to have been discontinued. I decided to give this one a try. I like that it holds 24 ounces rather than the 20 ounces my older ones held. This one however doesn't seem to have any way for air to get into the bottle when using the straw to get water out. Unless I loosen the lid each time I wish to drink, the water is severely rationed to just a couple of sips at a time.

Overall very nice bottle, for water or otherwise.

Now I'm not much of a review kinda person but I felt I should share my two cents. This thing is a high quality bottle. I've only had it for a month or so but it's been a fantastic bottle for that month. It's durable and well built. It was knocked off a shelf three or four feet up onto a tile floor and didn't dent, crack, or receive any notable damages besides a scratch. It's also got great insulation. Just yesterday I made hot cocoa and put it in the bottle at around... 10 AM. Since it was hot, I let it sit to cool down. The cocoa was hot for several hours and didn't become lukewarm until about 2:30 or 3 PM, and I never put the lid on. The only issue I've found was that every once in a while, you might have to push the straw further into the lid so you can use it without a ton of vacuum resistance, but that might be from the fall, and not the bottle itself. Stickers and decals might have a harder time going on smooth due to the curve on the top, but that's not really an issue.

Disappointed

I had my previous contigo which was a similar model and loved it and used it for over 5yrs and it eventually needed to be replaced. I had this one for a year and there is an issue with the straw and the nozzle which renders the unit in drinkable. Needless to say I’m a little disappointed. For the price point would not recommend.

I wanted to love this…

I bought this for myself as a birthday present because opening my other water bottle would wake up my newborn and required two hands to use. It started leaking after about a month’s use and the straw wouldn’t seal inside and would let air bubbles in when I’d go to use it - to the point that I couldn’t use it anymore. I never put it through the dishwasher, or used hot or cold liquids in it. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Messy

When you click the button to pop up the straw spout, any water that was in the spout flies about a foot. So.. every time you open it, it sprays a little. Or a lot. And the lid is quite hard to get clean. But other than that... keeps water reasonably cool. Haven't tried it with hot drinks because of the cleaning issue.

Just as described. I should have read details. I didn’t want one with a straw but I can swap a lid from another tumbler. Still like the product.
