Maybe nice, if you can read french, lol. Why no english directions to make items? Disappointing purchase.

Directions are in French

Not only are the directions in French (A big thank you to Google translate), but the packages and the directions don’t match up. They said to attach a barrette and there is an elastic. They have four flowers that need an adhesive circle and only three were given. Finally, they don’t give enough string and you run out. All of these frustrations can be fixed but it’s still disappointing to have to run and get different materials or figure out how to do things on your own.

Nice kit

We really like craft kits. I would much prefer them doing something than watching something. It is nice because they can spend the time doing it and then they have something special to keep. They are excited when they make something themselves. This is a great activity for a rainy day or a day when your child is sick or when you are just stuck at home. It is a good way to keep a child busy. I thought it was age appropriate. It wasn’t too hard. The children really liked how it turned out. I feel like this is good for child development. It kept my children's interest. It would also make a nice gift. I would recommend it.

Cute Kit, No English Instructions With Pictures That Don’t Completely Match

I’m a bit conflicted when it comes to this Craftabelle Flower Hair Accessories Kit. There are definitely both pros and cons. I ordered this for my 5 year old daughter who loves flowers and crafts. I realize this is for older children (they say ages 8-10) but I figured I would help her make everything. She was very excited when I showed her. Pros- -Cute set with 150 pieces -Age appropriate materials like felt shapes and cute buttons -Decent quality considering it is mostly felt and various plastic and ribbon-like material. I noticed some long hanging threads from the hair piece we made, but not a big deal -Really pretty and colorful designs -Comes in a nice little tin box that could be used to store the accessories afterward or for other purposes -There are 8 hair accessories that can be made and it is nice that the main pieces for each accessory come packaged separately so it doesn’t get too confusing -The current price of $9.27 for this set is definitely seems like a good value for what you get especially since kids have fun feeling like they made it themselves So far, we have finished one hair clip as I have shown pictured. It was only slightly frustrating. I do fear that it may become slightly more frustrating as we make more- we started with the one that looks the easiest. Cons- -The biggest con is that the lovely looking instructions are all in a different language.... French? Anyway, I will say that the instructions are nice in that they at least include decent pictures. -I don’t think all the pictures fully match up. Like I said, I have only done one so far, but the one I did showed the felt flower being secured to a hair band, but that particular one was packaged with a clip instead. The other ones don’t seem to fully match up either. -The “string” that I threaded through to secure the hair piece together is kind of like a plastic wire. One of the pictures shows how you would normally tie a loop so that the plastic thread is doubled, but I tried multiple times and it would not stay knotted over itself like that- it kept coming undone, so I just ended up doing it another way. -Hopefully there will be enough of this plastic thread for all of the hair accessories. I can’t say for sure yet. It comes as one long curled up piece and you have to cut it, but would be nicer if they precut the right lengths for each hair accessory and put each piece in the separate little hair accessory packages. I still think the pros outweigh the cons for now considering the price. The instructions not being in English is frustrating, but there are decent pictures and it isn’t rocket science- I probably didn’t do it the exact way the instructions described, but I still got it done. The company really needs to add instructions in English as well or at a bare minimum put the English instructions online for reference! Overall, I would recommend as long as you are okay with no English instructions and think you can improvise a little if needed. It is still a very cute set. I’ll be sure to update if any major issues arise when we start to work on the rest of the hair accessories. I hope my review was helpful in some way, and if so, I would love to know- thanks!

Another winner from Craftabelle!

I picked up this Craftabelle Flower Hair Accessories Kit for my 10 year old daughter. We love these Craftabelle kits, they are the perfect size and price point to pick up to have on hand for a rainy day. I like to be able to pull out a kit, my child can complete the craft in one afternoon and then enjoy her creation. These kits come with everything you need, you will not be searching for additional supplies. I like that this kit moves away from making bracelets, there are so many bracelet kits out there, plus with friendship and rubber band bracelets too, we don't have arms long enough for all the bracelets we're making! Typically, Craftabelle kits contain very clear instructions and are easy to follow, oddly enough, this kit only contained French instructions! We were able to get the gist of the info through the pictures and turn out some cute barrettes, plus there are enough supplies here to make several varieties or to share if she had a friend over. A cute way to share these barrettes with friends is to use them as bows on gift bags or packages! But all in all, this is another winner from Craftabelle and would make a great gift on it's own. At this price point, I could see these kits as a perfect grab bag gift or tucked into an Easter Basket or Christmas stocking. You could even tie up several kits together with ribbon and present it to your favorite crafty kid as an impressive birthday gift! The reusable tins are great for keeping colored pencils or other supplies organized as well! Very pleased!

Instructions in French

Worse product because instructions only came in French. It was a gift and I was so embarrassed when my niece called me so numbed and sad that she couldn’t complete any of the projects because she couldn’t read the instructions.
