I've tried a bunch of clipless pedals, and these are just fantastic!

Having ridden flat pedals for 37 years, and being a Mountain Biker, I have tried to go clipless a few times, but I have never really found a real "fit". These Crank Brothers Candy pedals are perfect for me! I have a left knee that I injured a long time ago, and so it grumbles if I'm not really careful about my foot placement, and I need to adjust that foot/knee as I ride to keep comfortable. Previous clipless pedals I tried never worked, due to lack of float, and/or various other factors, but the Candys give me a ton of float, are really easy to get into and out of, hold my feet secure, but don't feel like I'm clamped in place and unable to adjust. I'm running the easy version of the cleats, with 6 degrees of float and a 10 degree release (they are the Rose Gold colored version). 100% recommended!

Easy to clip

I bought these for my trainer. I did not want to spend a lot of money. Soon after, this became my favorite clip over Speedplay. Easy to get in and out. And, very solid.

Best clipless out there

I have purchased 3 sets of the Candy 1. These were my first clipless pedals. They came with an easy release cleat(which I still use.) I have now been using them for 2 years. I don't think you can beat them for ease of use.

Great SPD pedals

I've used these pedals on over 1000 miles of riding - they still clip easily and unclip only when I want to. Do it. Buy them! Crankbrothers makes great pedals.

Easy to clip in

Interesting alternative to Shimano SPD. Not better or worse, just different. Hope these last as long as Shimano.

They're not pink

They're like a candy purple or fuschia. I still like them and own 2 other pairs of Candy and 1 pair of Doubleshots. Just not impressed with the actual color. Much darker than they appear.

Great pedals

I swapped from Time Pedals to these and took a little while to warm to them. On the turbo trainer, they don't make much sense having four sides of entry, but outside they are fabulous. Very easy to use, with good release tension. Perfect for beginners or more advanced riders, with nice support for shoes that are not fully rigid. It is also possible to get a full rebuild kit including all bearings and bushings, which sadly SRAM (who now own Time Pedals) could not offer on my pedals, hence why I changed to these.

More Crank Bros quality

These are my third pair of Crank Brothers pedals ... I have them on each of my bikes and have been using them without problems for at least a decade. I started with the original 'eggbeaters' which are still in use on my mountain bike. The forerunner of these Candy's went on my first hybrid (on which I've ridden thousands of km), and these Candy 1's have been fitted to my first eBike. They arrive nicely boxed (good enough to be gift wrapped if needed) together with a set of the cleats. Note that these are not interchangeable with SPD-type cleats/pedals. I've done a few hundred kilometres on these and they have performed faultlessly. I expect them to continue for years. Unlike the original eggbeaters, you can only clip into the Candy's on two faces of the pedal, but the connection is secure and the float - determined by the cleats - is more than enough to avoid knee problems. The cleats tend to wear and I've probably replaced a couple of sets over the last decade, but that's a small price to pay for the ease of engaging them and heir mud/much shedding capabilities. I walk around in the mud in my cycling shoes and have had very few problems with them being too clogged to engage. When, or more likely IF, they pack up and wear out I'll buy another pair. Highly recommended.

Well designed, functional pedals for pretty much any use

These are consistent, solid yet lightweight pedals. Once they've settled it, you can slot your cleats on from any angle, making finding the connection much easier. The mini platform, however, means you can pedal around without clicking on, say if you're hoping on and off frequently.

Comfy with good looks

As a 20+ years SPD user I had become fed up of foot pain on longer rides and was recommended to try Crankbrothers by a friend. I can confirm they are easy to clip in, more supportive and look to be much easier to maintain. Add to that the usual excellent Amazon service and price and I can only highly recommend them.

Great product… not worth spending more on the more expensive models!
