Not for cold weather

Five stars for the soft, comfortable thermopolis fabric, but this jacket is only suitable for spring and fall. I bought this on sale and would have returned it if I had paid full price. I have so many jackets for all kinds of climates, and the reason that I kept it is because it is tunic length, very comfortable, and it is a very good fit. I especially like the hood, which is only big enough to cover my head. There are no drawstrings for the hood but it stays in place because the zipper goes all the way up to the chin. Unfortunately, the back of the jacket and sleeves are not the same thermopolis fabric, and although it is quite comfortable, it is much thinner and almost like a mesh fabric. I bought this as a casual walking jacket, but would probably work fine for a runner, as the back offers a bit of ventilation. I'm 5'4", 130 lbs and if I didn't have broad shoulders could have worn a small. The sleeves reach to my knuckles, but do have a bit of a cuff. The medium gives me enough room to layer underneath, and it could easily fit under an overcoat.
