Secure fit & fun color!

I really like this pfd. It’s light weight and perfect for paddle boarding. It also works great if you fall in the water. I fitted mine perfectly to my body and when I fell in I felt safe getting back to my board. I’m new at paddle sports, so practicing new moves, pivots, & rescues require a pfd that feels good. I really enjoy the extra fasteners at the top of my shoulders too. I didn’t realize they were there until I attended a water safety course & the instructor fastened them down a smidge tighter. That definitely helped this pfd feel so much better. I’m a 34C and I will say getting back up on my board was a bit of a challenge with this pfd on. The chest part is quite thick so it might take a few tries, or variations for you to get back on board (speaking specifically about paddle boarding) I also like the zipper in front too. It holds my safety whistle perfectly. Color seems true to advertisement. Would recommend.

Not what I’m looking for

I read through many reviews and took into account how bulky many reviewers said it was, I just didn’t understand how bulky. The foam is about 2 inches thick on the chest. Although the description said it’s good for kayaking, what it failed to mention is that it’s good for RIVER kayaking. You want bulk on the chest when river kayaking where, if you should fall out of the boat, the goal is to have your mouth and chest above the water as you’re going down, feet first to act as shock absorbers if you hit a rock or other obstacle. Although I’m sure this PFD would be more comfortable when lake kayaking and would allow free range of motion when paddling, it’s just too bulky for me and will be returned. I also didn’t noticed any cups for my breasts and it didn’t seem particularly roomy in that area. I’m a 38B and ordered the M/L. I hope my review helps anyone still on the fence.

Love this PFD! Fits comfortable!!!

We recently started kayaking and this was a must. I’m glad it doesn’t get in my way while paddling and has zipper pockets on the front for convenience. The only thing I would like changed, is the way the straps tighten. I would prefer them tightening towards the front. I like to be independent!!

Pretty, and measurements are accurate for sizing

This is really nice but tighter on my breasts than I expected. Measurements said I needed XXL but I am quite well endowed (44DDD) so they girls are quite squished despite the contour padding - however I’m certain that a mens or unisex life vest would be MUCH tighter. I have not used it in my kayak yet, only tried it on, but I think it’s going to be very comfortable!

Sizing not described

I really like the life ja ketchup but am not happy that the sizing was not adequately described in the details. I had to guess at the correct size based on some drawings. Had I been given the measurements, I would have known to order a different size. Not sure if this is an Amazon thing or someone else's lack of detail in the des riptide and/or pictures. Also the molded cups, not so much. Can barely tell there is extra room provided for women's shape. Small breated women will be fine.

Fits a petite person really well.

I love how it fits. I'm petite and having a women's specific life jacket is important to me. I'm 5' 104 and bought the xs. I wish it didn't have to be so thick in the front but it may save my life one day. I wear it on a sup. I am concerned that I may not easily be able to slide up onto the board because of the front thickness but I won't sink. Ill just try not to fall in. LOL.

Not suitable for kayaking

This PFD was really bulky. The sides were too high considering the fact it is supposed to be a kayaking life jacket. I returned it!
