Great but not as great as they used to be
I am a die hard GT-2000 fan. On my fifth or six pair. But they changed the material on the upper and my big toe busted through my previous pair and is starting to on this pair as well, even though they are the same size I've always purchased and they don't feel too tight. It's so frustrating because they have lots of miles left on them but then holes in the toes. ☹️

Love these shoes! I’ve been an ASICS 2000 wearer for years. To me this are very well fitting and very supportive for walking or hiking. They have held up great so far (3 months). My feet don’t hurt! Much better than my last ASICs. I don’t hike that much but do walking trails with Little Rock’s or sand that my shoes will slip on while going up or down hill. Not with these. They also protect your feet so if you step on a rock it doesn’t hurt. Heel stays secure doesn’t slip up and down ! Yay!! Toe box seems perfect to me - I’ve had ASICS too tight and too loose in toe box, this are ‘just right’.

Fit like a glove
I would have given this shoe 5 starts but the color is so ugly. This shoe was recommended by my orho surgeon after double knee replacement surgery. s They are very light, great traction. the heal cup cradles my heal and my balance and stability feel great. I have knee back neck and feet problems and I had no pain when walking in these. I have tried sooooo many shoes but these are my favorite by far. Just wish they had more colors to choose from.

Not over-built
I'm a pavement runner. I also have narrow feet. These were the best fitting running shoes I've found . . . seems like when I find a good model, Asics discontinues it and the search goes on again, so I bought a second pair. They give great stability, they are light, and they don't feel over-puffy or built up too much the way some shoes are. There's enough arch support but not too much. I don't care for the appearance that much--I substituted black laces instead of the hot pink ones--but when I find a great running shoe I'm not picky about color.

Comfortable but narrow shoe
I like everything about these shoes except they are very narrow. I ordered my normal 8.5 size and have been a longtime Asics wearer but these are going to take a bit to break in. The insert is very comfortable, enough padding to wear all day. The toebox is roomy enough. My toes do not hit the top of the shoe but fits well, but the rest is really narrow. These shoes will take some breaking in but I think they'll work. Otherwise, great look, very stylish and supportive.

Feel great on my feet.
I had purchased the 2000 8 after having loved the 2000 7 and it seems the design changed and the sizing got bigger so I found 2 pair of GT 2000 7 and grabbed them. I'll need to go into a store and get correct sizing for the new designs. I have to say I have loved the GT 2000 6 and GT 2000 7. They are the only shoes I wear. Great support. Helped my back and feel great on my feet.

WAY TOO NARROW
I have worn Asics for several years and they have always fit my wider feet with no problem. However, this particular style is painful and way too tight. I have tried everything to stretch them out but my poor feet are in misery. They also came with dirty soles so I guess someone else didn't like them either and sent them back. I have too...

Nice shoe for a good price
Size is almost true, maybe a quarter inch on the small side but not small enough to make too much of a difference. Provides support and comfort for walking (have not taken them on a run yet). Very nice cushion in the heel. Works well for weight lifting, cross training, and other workouts.

A little uncomfortable shoe
These shoes were highly recommended by my chiropractor, they have a nice design but they are a little uncomfortable, if you plan to get them, by at least a size up. I ended up not using them because they fill so tight on my toes. I am size 7, but decided to get a 7.5 and they felt so tight on my toes, they even made feel tired after a couple of hours of using them.

Supportive comfortable and stylish trainers
I always buy a full size up in this make but they’re the best trainers I’ve ever had and this is now my fourth pair!
