Size up

Needed some quick drying shirts that could be dressed up or down for some upcoming trips for which I'm packing minimally. This material fits the bill for quick drying, doesn't wrinkle, folds small and well for packing in a small suitcase. It's a flattering length and fit IF, and I mean IF you have the right body type or size up appropriately to accommodate for a body type for which this shirt wasn't necessarily designed. It's a Columbia active fit, meaning it's their tightest fit, or most form fitting, so if you have some form that you wish not to be well displayed through this shirt, then I'd size up one, probably two sizes. Especially if you are of the "apple" shape or if Victoria's Secret doesn't make a bra big enough for you. If you prefer looser fit tops, don't buy this shirt. Look for Columbia shirts that are "regular" fit or "relaxed" fit.

best polo ever

I've been using polo shirts for years and these are by far my new favorites. The quality is wonderful, especially for the hot weather I live in. The material is soft but firm, they hang on your body nicely. They don't seem to stretch out like some polo shirts do after a while, and they are not too boxy either. I was nervous about the sizing because many people have complained about Columbia's sizing, but these fit true to size and I was really happy about that.

great shirt

I have several of these polo shirts. I used to wear a medium and then lost some weight and switched to small, and they are true to size although a little longer in length than other similar polo shirts, which is great. My only complaint is that the fabric snags very easily. It has snagged on my desk and also from my cat's claws if I hold him while wearing it.

Columbia Polo shirt does not hold up well.

The shirt looks good on. However, it does not hold up well. It runs extremely easy. You will have to watch what you are doing and how you wash. I recommend washing by hand. It appears anything will run it. The color was nice and shirt looks great till you wear it once or twice...then the snags appear.
