Love GV jeans

I am a difficult fit. I’m (a) short) and (b) have a disproportionately smaller waist so finding good fitting jeans was difficult. GV comes closest to a good fit for me without needing alterations AND they are priced really well.

Amazon and Gloria Vanderbilt To The Rescue!

After losing 40 lbs, finding stores with a sufficient inventory of size 4 petite trousers appropriate for an adult woman proved daunting. If my 57 year-old wrinkled belly wasn't hanging out, I was exposing my self when I bent over. Most of the jeans looked like Goodwill rejects with rips and distressed fabric! Gloria Vanderbilt and Amazon to the rescue! The trousers I purchased were a perfect fit, and as usual, GV jeans have a very flattering fit in the lower back and derriere. They cover the abdomen and don't reveal your "southern exposure" when you bend over or squat. The fabric is good quality. The color of the denim looks new, and not pre-washed, which for Jean Fridays at work, looks attractive and professional. I sent all my old GV jeans to a friend in South Carolina. My old jeans fit her perfectly. She was very happy, and she called to say that she has gotten so many compliments on her new wardrobe.

Outstanding value when compared to other similar brands

Nice fit, good quality material. Have promptly bought 2 more pairs. Unsure what tapered fit vs straight leg will bring, so one of each. Thanks for making this item on Amazon as a good price.

Can't find any pants to fit me exept Gloria Vanderbilts.

So glad you have G.V.'s jeans. I used to buy them at a department store in town but it closed as so many are doing. Was pleased to find them here and am so glad you have my small size 4P. Thanks--they are well made and last!!

Disappointed

This is my go-to brand and I have at least 10 pairs of GV Amandas. However, this was my first time ordering from Amazon and although the fit was perfect as I expected, there is a strong machine oil odor to both pairs that has not washed out after laundering. I hope this lessens with more washes as it is really noticeable and unpleasant. And of course I was disappointed with both Amazon and the product.

Ordered size 4 Petite Amanda jeans in Scottsdale wash and they are consistent with the Gloria Vanderbilt sizing I have had for several years. I've noticed the past few months that Gloria Vanderbilt sizing is different depending on the color of jeans. The black jeans seem to run smaller and shorter than other colors, but the Scottsdale are the quality and comfort of my older ones.

Jeans are nice. But Canada Post delivered them and took so long in getting them here. They are very undependable.
