Fit Small, Size Up
These are wonderful gloves and well made, I’ve come to expect pretty good quality from Marmot and these do not disappoint. Unfortunately they came about a few weeks too late because I could have definitely used them during those single digit winter mornings on the way to class. The material is a mix between a leather on the finger tips and inside palm and a tough Teflon on the outer hand. They do fit a bit on a smaller side as well as others have noted. I have small hands and wrists but longer fingers and these were a tad small. I’m still able to move my hand and fingers around but I think with more wear, they should loosen up a bit. I love the contrast of the black and light blue accents, it adds something a little more to an otherwise typical black glove. The interior is a really lightweight fleece so nothing heavy or thick about these gloves. I was thinking I’d use them for snowboarding but I feel these will be more everyday winter gloves instead because I prefer a little more cushion and warmth on the inside.

Lightweight sports glove
This is a set of insulated lightweight sports gloves. The shell of the gloves is 95% nylon on the backs and 5% goatskin leather. On the palms there is 100% goatskin leather. The lining and insulation is 100% polyester. The construction has a large panel across the palm and fingers with an articulated thumb. The backs are black nylon with 3 aqua swirls for decorative accents. The wrists have elastic gathers across the back; they also have Velcro straps that attach under the front sides of the wrists. The backs of the thumbs have a softer suede-like surface that can be used as nosewipes. There are light plastic clips on the sides of the gloves to hold them together. The Marmot logo appears on the backs of the gloves near the wrists. These gloves in size small weigh 3.8 oz together. The gloves were made in China. I like these gloves for their warmth, but they are a little too small for me. I am a woman with small to medium hands. I tried size Small of these gloves (the tag says S/M). The fingers are just the right size, the width of the gloves is snug but comfortable. But the wrists are tight enough that the gloves are a little hard to get on, especially the second glove once I am already wearing a glove on my first hand. So I would say these gloves tend to run small; probably best to size up. Size S/M would probably be good for a small and thin 12-15 year old. Overall, though, the gloves are well made, tough enough for sports, and warm enough for 20F-40F.

The Good: -Warm -Water proof -Fits well (my wife typically wears small gloves and they fit well) -Velcro closure for secure fit -Stylish -Breathable The Bad: -A bit expensive The Bottom Line: My wife likes these gloves since they’re warm and waterproof. They fit very well and have Velcro closure for secure fit. They’re stylish and lightweight and my wife likes how they look with her winter gear. The only downside is these gloves are a bit expensive. Overall I would recommend these gloves to add to your cold weather gear. **Disclosure: I received a sample product from the Amazon Vine program for an honest and unbiased review.

Soft, warm, and comfortable
These Marmot gloves are great for trekking outdoors. The lining is very soft and warm and the velcro strap is easy to use while wearing them. The exterior fabric tends to make a "wrinkle" sound when you bend them, which is a little weird, but not too annoying. Great gloves, but a tad on the expensive side.

Daughter took them over ..
I ordered these for myself but when I received the product, my daughter tried them on and now they belong to her :) These gloves are very good quality, every detail is carefully thought through. I have few items from Marmot brand and I have been always pleased with their quality and this is no different. A great product, highly recommended. They are not padded, but have a soft lining which feels very good on skin. Palm is leather and they are waterproof. They are truly size S, too tight for size M, don't order them expecting it might fit. One thing I wish to improve for them is for use on a touchscreen to enter my phone pass code without removing the glove. But I LOVE these gloves and need to order another pair for myself now :)

Warm and good for driving
I live in Chicago and park outside. I hate getting in my cold car. My hands get so cold. These gloves are really nice for driving in a cold car. They grip the steering wheel well and the cold from the steering wheel doesn't infiltrate the gloves. The gloves are soft on the inside, but the leather on the outside protects from the wind. These gloves aren't great for things like walking the dogs because they don't offer enough dexterity to pick up after them and taking them on and off is annoying. I also noticed that these gloves seem to run slightly small. You may want to order a size up if you're between sizes. Overall, these are nice gloves and they solved a problem for me better than other gloves.

Great for cooler weather.
I waited to write the review of the Marmot Spring Glove until this fall as when I received them it was June and well, I wasn't actually going to be using them until now. Living in the snow belt of the PNW, we have already had snow starting in September. Because of this, I have been able to test out these gloves for the last few weeks. The gloves fit well, and are warm enough on the days where it is in the 20-50 degree range. Overall these are great and I know I will be getting a lot more use out of them.

A spring glove ready for the long haul.
This glove may say it's for spring, but it can be worn in autumn or winter as well because it is so nicely constructed with thick material that is easy to clean and looks really nice with the contrasting colors. Sometimes mornings are a bit cool out and these are also great for hiking even if skiing is not on the agenda! These are a really nice pair of gloves! But beware, a small is VERY small so you might want to order a size up.
