Need half a size bigger

Flat is pretty

To order shoes online, I use SAS as a measure. I wear a 8Slim SAS shoe, so thought the Trotters 8N might be too wide. I was surprised when the shoe was somewhat tight. The shoes are wearable, but only for short periods of time. By the way, the style is great.

I sized up.

Usually wear 9 to a 9.5 and went w/ 9.5, even though it did not follow size chart.. They are fine on my thinner feet, as I am thin from a chronic illness,. Padding is great, Strap is great and stays up and color is true. Arch is great. I could not wear these through the fall w/ thin trouser stockings on, bare feet only.

Would have given 5 stars had it not been too small. All my other trotters pairs fit perfectly, but not this one. Definitely need to order a half size larger. Returned.

The shoes were somewhat short in length and the elastic positioned over the instep rubbed on my little toe where I am sometimes bothered by corn. The shoes were well constructed and very nice looking. The sizing was the only problem with them.

Almost Nice

I like the shoe, but it does pinch a bit between the top of the shoe and the elastic strap. I hope this will subside as the new shoe stiffness disappears.

Smart but runs small

This is a smart shoe, especially considering the former Trotters rep. Listen to other reviewers who, like me, believe the shoe runs about 1/2 size too small.

Pretty shoe but ill fitting.

Very attractive style, however they run very narrow in the toe area. After reading reviews I ordered a 9M and normally wear a 9N.. Since a wider shoe for the toe area it made the strap at heal too wide.. The color is not what I ordered. I ordered black and received black with a bronze toe. I am returning.

Good purchase

Length was true fit. Found that the width(I am a medium width) was a bit too wide. Very comfortable shoe.
