Well-made & attractive boot but size down!

I always buy wide sizes, even extra-wide, because almost every shoe I buy that says it's wide isn't really. I picked my usual size in double-extra-wide for use with heavy socks in the cold. The boots were easily a size & 1/2 too big, even without the extra width-because they were too long too. So I ordered again & chose a half size smaller than my actual shoe size with x-wide, not double x. I still need thick socks or they'd be too loose & won't stay on my feet. Every other time I've received shoes that didn't quite fit, they were too small, not too large so I say all this in case that has been your experience too. The boots are pretty & sturdily made so I'm still glad I got them.

Almost perfect

I've had good luck with Propet shoes over the years and decided to gamble on these boots for fall/winter walking. I was not disappointed with them! The sole treads have worked well in slick places (wet leaves, ice-snow mixes), the boots gave enough support that I didn't get tired, and they look okay. I find the soles are a bit stiff & clunky, but the uppers worked out of some initial stiffness after a few wearings. If the soles never become less stiff, that's okay. I love how easy these boots are to put on and take off. So, overall, for me these boots are a very good compromise between sneakers and hiking boots. Glad I got them!

Excellent Shoes Especially for Those With Painful Feet

I bought the navy suede option. These are my favorite shoes. I have severe Polyneuropathy and Dystonia and there are few shoes that I can wear for more than a short time without them causing extreme pain. I can wear these for hours. I have worn an AFO with these, but I'm not able to walk right now. The shoes are wide enough to wear with my AFO but fit well without it, something I haven't found in any other shoes. I think it's mostly due to the Velcro strap closure which allows for unusual flexibility to fit feet with swollen ankles or an AFO, combined in with a bootie configuration that doesn't rub on my ankles like regular shoes do. The toe box is roomy and accommodates my peculiar foot deformities without putting pressure on any part of my foot. They are easy to get into and out of due to the single wide strap closure. This is a benefit for anyone who has difficulty with laces and/or shoes with multiple Velcro closures. They also look really awesome! I've gotten more compliments on these shoes than all the other shoes I've worn in my life combined. I don't buy shoes for their "cuteness factor", but these have a high one. They seem durable, especially since my shoes are exposed to abnormal stresses and they are still intact while most of my shoes only have a 3-4 month lifespan. The fit, comfort and style of these shoes exceed all of my expectations, and I would recommend them to anyone. I would highly recommend these to anyone who has special challenges regarding their feet and who require shoes that go above and beyond to accommodate painful conditions.

Perfection!

These boots are everything I had hoped for. Very cute on and a perfect fit at a reasonable price. I have narrow feet. It is almost impossible to find affordable boots in a narrow width. However, Propet has become my best friend. I have now ordered sneakers and am equally impressed with the quality and fit.

11 narrow is not true to size

I ordered this shoe in an 11 narrow, but it was too wide for my foot. Beautiful shoe!!!! Also, the material of the shoe was too hard. This let me know that it was not going to soften and fit my foot after wearing.

9.5 Wide FINALLY a shoe that fits. THANK YOU PROPET!

OMG! I wear 9.5 wide, nearly impossible to find in any shoe, even when you do they usually aren't wide enough or in rare cases are too wide. When these popped up in a flash sale, i jumped on it. So happy that I did. Right out of the box, I'm in love with these things, my feet are happy! Like wearing slippers, perfect fit and so cute!!! That they also offer XWide and XXWide OMG! I decided to just do 9.5 wide and they are perfect fit! This rarely happens for me so YAY!!!!! THANK YOU PROPET! Finally a comfortable, cute shoe for people with REAL SIZE FEET! Will SO BE BUYING MORE OF THESE! Love THEM!!!!

Very comfy but slippery when icy

Wide enough for my feet and especially with a bunion. I wear a shoe insole because it is a hard shoe. I wear them all day and very comfortable. True fit to size.

Fit well and good traction in snow

I have a hard time finding boots that fit due to my ankles swelling. These boots are comfortable to wear, roomy enough for socks in cold weather, easy to put on and I like the Velcro strap. They look very nice on, I can wear them confidently for any occasion. I found them to have good traction in snow. I can recommend them and would definitely buy again!

A bit more on the narrower side

Delivery was very fast, ordered them to have a pair of winter boots (Canadian winter) that are more on the chic side to go out on certain occasion. Trying them on (I normally wear a size 9W, ordered them in 9XW), they are definately on the narrower side (they were just snug enough to have my insoles and a thicker pair of socks inside) and I wouldn't recommand them to wear for hours in a weather colder than -15°C/-20°C, probably more for in and outs between the house and the subway station. However, if you live in a place with warmer winters (i.e. South of British Colombia or Europe), I would definately recommand them, they are cute and well made.

Easy boot for caregiver to help elderly mom put on!

Great width for elderly mom with bunions. Heavy sole gives stability in walking, maybe a bit heavy for 92 year old. Easy access to toes and easy velcro opening. Very thankful and pleased with purchase.
