Great size and comfortable straps

My wife has used this on a couple trips so far and its her goto bag. She currently has it packed as her hospital bag for our impending trip to welcome our newest little one. She was able to fit a good amount of clothes and supplies and had room for some electronics. The straps are comfortable and have a good amount of padding. The design is "cute" she says and happy wife happy life!

It's Huge!!!

Wow this is the biggest travel backpack I have ever owned, in both size and carrying capacity. The front has a zip up pocket with a little pouch inside and the first compartment has more pockets and a little strap you can attach keys to. It has 2 pockets that can expand on the sides. They can carry a small Pellegrino can to a larger mug. It might not work too well depending on what you have stored inside the backpack though. You can easily store an outfit or two neatly fold in the main compartment of the backpack. It has two tie down straps like a traditional suit case would to keep your stuff in place. You can also expand the backpack to give ya some more room with the zipper near the back. The laptop compartment is the last compartment closest to the back naturally. and WOW the padding of that compartment is nice and thick! Gives you a little piece of mind about the safety of your laptop. I'm not too sure about water resistance for the entire bag though. The backpack is a cotton fabric and The lining doesn't feel like your traditional water resistance fabric. But the interior lining of the laptop compartment is made with a different fabric from the rest that feels more water resistance. I would not recommend this to be used for a school back unless you want the buckled straps inside to strap down your books. But overall a high quality, well built and cute travel backpack.

Large Backpack Fits Under the Plane Seat

My wife is a big fan of Vera Bradley. She has always appreciated the quality of the products and the bright colors and the amazing comfort. My wife has more Vera Bradley bags than I can count. She loves the soft quilting and vibrant fabrics. As with all Vera Bradley products, this one seems to be well-made and designed to last for years of enjoyment. This backpack is surprisingly large even before you use the expandable sections that give another 2.5 inches of room inside the bag. I'm not sure about all the dimensions on all the airlines but this fit well and easily under the seat on a recent flight. It is really great for travel. We appreciate that it has the extra band that makes it go over the handle of a rolling bag when you don't want to use it as a backpack. It has a nice large main compartment and plenty of other pockets including a large pocket for a laptop. Since the whole bag is the regular Vera quilting it protects anything inside very well. Overall very happy with the "Vera Bradley Women's Cotton Large Travel Backpack Travel Bag, Sunlit Garden Sage - Recycled Cotton, One Size".

Gorgeous but way bigger than I expected

Excellent Bag, I love it!

Cannot find anything bad to say about this bag. It's well made, has numerous pockets/compartments, straps are adjustable, and the room inside is enormous. This can be used for a short or longer trip. I recently traveled by train and packed 3 days worth of clothes, a pair of shoes, my toiletry bag, some snacks, and 2 bottles of water on either side easily. It also has a small luggage strap on the backside, which is an extra bonus when traveling with a roller suitcase. I had a choice of colors and I went with the green, and very glad I did. It's a beautiful pattern and won't show a lot of dirt. I am so happy I chose to order this bag. I highly, highly recommend.

Beautiful Bag with Lots of storage toon

This is a well put together bag with lots of storage room and a beautiful Vera Bradley design. The shoulder straps are well padded and easy to adjust for a comfortable fit. Would definitely recommend.

Vera does it again!

Vera Bradley has been making the best travel bags for years, and with this travel backpack they have hit it out of the park! I have been a loyal Vera fan since I was in middle school and the quality and design have only improved since then. So let's talk about this awesome backpack! First and foremost, this is a travel backpack, not a school backpack, since you have different needs when you are traveling. The recycled cotton fabric has a nice design and I love the interior contrasting COTTON fabric print (if you know, you know ????). The front pocket has lots of compartments for everything you need when you are on the go. The big center pocket has suitcase straps to hold your clothes when traveling and a pocket for socks and underwear. It even expands to make more room in case you get too many souvenirs on your trip. The laptop pocket can hold your computer or tablet safely for a flight or trip. My only issue with the bag is the zipper protector on the front pocket, it kept getting stuck. This travel backpack is the perfect personal item. Now time for a vacation!

Colorful, with lots of compartments - and LARGE - suitcase for your back

Believe the description when it says LARGE. Think of it as a little suitcase to wear on your back. It has room for several changes of clothes, shoes, and toiletries, and it has a zipper that allows the bag to expand another 3" in depth in case you need more space. It has multiple compartments to organize documents/necessities in easy to find places. It also has a spot to attach your key ring so it doesn't fall out. This backpack is very well designed and has a place for everything. The only thing missing is a protective plastic/leather/bumper guard on the bottom of the bag. The thought of sitting a fabric bag directly on the dirty/wet airport floor gives me the willies. Having a bottom that could be wiped clean would be nice.
