Fun Belt

My teen daughter loves this belt, it works well with her fun style. The double ring buckle is stylish and eye catching, without being too large or blingy. Leather is nice, not too thick so it gives easily, and a nice rich shade. Enough width to work with great with jeans but the style also goes amazingly with nicer bottoms. A winner, recommended.

My 12-year-old daughter typically wears a size small or medium in women's apparel and has a 27-inch waist. This Lucky Brand Women's Leather Belt with Double Ring Closure comes in sizes small through x-large, but there is a belt sizing chart that uses numbers (32 through 44) without a connection to the sizes you may actually select from. I chose a medium, albeit I should have gone with a smaller size. The following is my daughter's opinion after wearing this belt a few times. This is a really nice belt and the leather is really good. It is easy to put on but I do feel like there could have been more holes so you could adjust it better. You might have super loose jeans or super tight so I feel like more holes would have been better. I like how the double ring closure makes the extra belt more secure.

Nice belt, not worth the price

Nice belt, looks good, but not the best for Lucky Brand. a similar quality belt could probably be found at a store for less than half the price. Overall, not bad.

It's stiff leather, but sized as stated.

I don't love this and won't wear it because it's stiff and I like a worn in soft belt. It is also a little thicker than I like. I won't wear this.

It seems low quality for Lucky Brand

The holes on the medium are 26-29 inches. The belt is 32 inches in total length, buckle included. The buckle is 2.25 inches long, 1.3 inches tall. The belt width is slightly less than 1 inch. Overall, the quality is lesser than I expect from Lucky Brand. The leather definitely looks fake, like pleather. However, I do believe it is stated to be real. The metal buckle is ok quality, but I'm worried it will tarnish. It is super cute worn, but I do worry about it's longevity.

Less than Desirable Buckle, Both in How it's Made and Ease of Use

This LUCKY BRAND belt was only available to me in the size medium, and for size reference, I'm wearing it with 501 jeans with a pants size 28 inch waist. As my denims are higher waisted pants, I could have used one more punch hole for a better fit. A size small would have been a better choice. That aside, this belt is genuine leather, but it's rather stiff and rigid. The exterior is tanned and polished while the underside has a rough hide texture. Stitching is neat and seems well executed. There are numerous punch holes for finding the right fit. My disappointment lies with the gold tone double hoop belt buckle. It's metal, but it's thin, lightweight and feels and looks cheap. Up close the buckle's finish is nothing to get excited over, don't confuse it with solid brass. Also, this belt is a huge pain to put on and take off. The belt strap doesn't thread easily through the buckle, you have to "work" the belt through and it drags on the metal center bar. You know how you usually put on a belt and pull it effortlessly through the buckle till you find whatever hole you want? Not this belt! It's a poor design that makes it difficult to put the buckle's prong through the punch holes. The bottom line for me is that at this higher price point, I was expecting more. I can't recommend as I think there are far better choices out there in this price range that offer more quality leathers and nicer, easier to use buckles. I posted some photos to give you a closer look and hope that they, along with my experience with this belt, helps you out a bit with your choice. Thank you!
