Replacement vent

Beautiful match for our wood floor. Not very cost effective though

4.5 stars - color variation is weak link

Good quality grate, proper size, but color inconsistent. I bought this as part of a makeup air system I installed in my kitchen. You can see the center portion of grate matches my maple cabinets, but the bottom strip is almost white. This would be perfect if they just used consistently colored wood... I would even pay more for a consistent product

Excellent Vent Cover!

This was the final vent cover of 6 just like it I've bought in the past couple of years. These make for quieter forced air from my furnace, are far more attractive than those run of the mill metal jobs, and are heavy enough to set in place on my carpet without moving. I have to walk on one of them every day and I've never stumbled or tripped on it (I did recess it into my carpet so it sits on the sub-floor rather than the carpet directly) and I've had lots of compliments on the one the visible one; the rest are behind or under furniture with a chute to direct the air out from under.

Register grates--Natural Color

I LOVE these register grates! They are so lovely in my home! The color is indeed a natural wood, no "yellowing" that some other natural wood colors can have and they are a good quality grate that provides a modern, contemporary look for those looking to replace old grates or add new ones when installing new hardwood floors. The grates are "adjustable" by direction and can open/close--not sure if that is in the specifications, though the stick that does the adjusting is a black plastic piece (and a bit cheap--one broke off already). The only negative to these grates is that they are not as flush as usual metal grates on the floor. They stick up a bit, so if you have concerns about "clearing" a door or something else OVER the grates, be prepared that you will need more room than a usual metal grate.

Lighter color than picture shows

Nice grate but really does not look like real wood. Plastic inside, but very strong.I had to force it a little to get it to fit the opening and it held up well. Very easy to clean.

Blend in with maple flooring

These are very nice. They blend in with my maple floor. The only complaint I might make is they rise about 1/2" above the floor instead of being flat. This is not a problem except in one narrow passageway. Much nicer than the plain metal ones that were installed by builders.
