Firms up faucets on a thin-wall kitchen sink.

If you installing a Delta kitchen faucet set on a light weight stainless sink, you need this reinforcement. I installed the faucets on the sink and had to wait until this arrived and then reinstall. They were too wobbly on the thin metal alone - 22 gauge I believe. This is just a piece of plastic with three holes, expensive for what it is, but it works and does the job.

Invaluable for stainless sink faucet install without a baseplate

I bought this after I had purchased and installed a solid stainless steel "industrial" style faucet / sprayer combo. I was installing into a stainless steel sink in an older house, and the weight of the heavy faucet body was enough to warp the thin stainless sink as it was swung from side to side. Installing this stabilization plate was a breeze - taking only about 10 minutes total.

Adds much stability to thinner stainless-steel sinks when using a single mount faucet..

I also purchased two, (Danco kitchen sink hole covers) to help secure the faucet mount to the sink..I mounted them under the beauty plate to secure the gasket to the sink and add a bit more stability. the flexing of the sink allowed the silicone seal to break and water to seep under and down into the cabinet.

Works well for stainless steel sink

I have a new two-handle faucet on an existing stainless steel sink. This plate significantly increases the stability of the sink local area. The plate has three 38 mm holes. But the two faucet water inlets are only 22 mm so I made two foam washers to prevent the plate from shafting. The installation went through well.

Perfect for the Kohler Ealing Pro kitchen faucet!

(Uncompensated review, I bought this part myself.) My new Kohler faucet required me to create this piece out of 1/2 inch plywood. It doesn’t say that on the box. I guess it would have been too convenient for me to be able to pick up some plywood and the necessary hole saw when I was still at the hardware store? For the price of the faucet, they should’ve included a piece like this! And they don’t make one to purchase separately, as I really don’t want to deal with part fabrication in the first place. Delta saved the day with this part and Amazon delivered it right away to me. It was easy to install, its a perfect fit, and my tall faucet is very secure and doesn’t tilt or wobble under its own weight on my stainless steel sink. Great purchase, great price, exactly the product I needed. Next time I buy a faucet, I’ll check out Delta’s offerings first.

Does exactly what it says

Got a new delta kitchen faucet, wish it said on the box I needed this, or the hardware stocked them, but oh well, Amazon got it here the next day. Makes the new ginormous faucet completely solid on my steel sink. Use a single hole mount with two long threaded plug in the unused holes. Helped hold the plate in place during the mounting process.

If your stainless steel sink is thin and your mounted faucet wobbles... you need this!

I wish I knew about this stabilization bar years ago! The stainless steel sink in our kitchen has a seemingly terrible guage of steel at the faucet mount. It's a three hole setup and any faucet you install to it is just wobble central. I think it's purely meant to be used with one of those old school ugly lightweight faucet/knob combos with a coverplate. Our last setup was a simple faucet in the center, with a water control on the left hole and hose sprayer on the right. Lots of wobble, but liveable. Well eventually that unit went out and I decided to replace it with a single-hole faucet (water control at the base of the faucet), delete the hose sprayer, and use the remaining two holes for soap pumps. Looked great, but holy wobble! The new faucet was really heavy duty... and heavy! It was also much taller than my previous faucet. The amount of wobble was unreal. I was considering returning it until I did some searching and found this stabilization plate. Ordered it on Prime and had it in a day. Super easy to install and what a night and day difference. My faucet has almost no wobble now. You've got to crank it in really tight, but once you have it does it's job so well. I was considering spending another $200+ on a new sink... instead at 5% that cost I totally solved my problem. Thanks Delta!
