I am sure the game will be as fun as we played it in the 80s!!!
I played this game in the 80s. At the time, i cannot afford to have my own set. But I saw it in Amazon and did not waste time and bought it immediately. Packaging was very good. No dents or sratches. I still enjoy looking at the unopened package! hahaaha!

Awesome game!
58,58,23,22,19. Those are our ages. It was perfect for all of us. We teamed up and girls won! The only thing annoying is that your piece holder covers the small color icon, so you keep forgetting what color you are on.

Outdated already
This is a fun family game. We got this version as the classic was too old for our child. Some questions are already outdated which can make answering those questions tricky.

Decent, but prefer the original
Our family was so excited for this, as we play the original edition many times every year. The categories are the same as original, but instead of brown for arts & literature, it's purple. It's nice having new questions, and we were happy with them! The issues come with the game board design and card format. The game board has very small icons in the big space at the end of each spoke, so you're constantly having to nudge your pie over to see which color it is. They should have made this icon much larger or there should be a colored border around the edge. Also, the pink and purple colors are sometimes hard to distinguish. The card lettering is lighter print than the original. It's kind of fun that there are tiny pictures with some of the questions, but it gets a little tedious when everyone is reaching for their readers to try and see it. I just think more thought could have gone into the design. We'll stick to playing the original when it's many of us playing, but this version is fine for two or three of us.

Finally, an updated version!
This new “master” version has better pie pieces that are easier to get in and out, and new and updated questions. Great, since the original has questions from 30+ years ago that young people don’t know. It was cheaper to buy this than add-on sets. The questions are mostly challenging with a few gummies tossed in. There’s a timer if you want it, we don’t us it because it only gives you about 30 seconds. Fun!

A Terrific Edition of the Classic Game!
I have the original game from the 1980s. We still play it at home and love it. But after decades of playing the same questions, we wanted to spice up our gameplay. After scanning the card sets out there, it made the most sense to buy the new version of the game, board and all. I'm so glad we did. The new version is colorful and vibrant. They replaced the old brown (literature) with purple and the design POPS! The wedges now have height to them and go into the game pieces more easily. The updated questions are challenging and fun. I like the fact that some of the questions are visual (with pictures on the card that you have to identify). And some answers include a sentence of trivia to explain a bit further. The new game comes with a timer (which we didn't use and which I think is an unnecessary addition). Otherwise, I'm completely happy with this purchase. Updated questions, turbo-charged design, still thoroughly enjoyable!

ton of knowledge & fun facts!
I liked this game for the variety of questions, although a lot of the questions are difficult some being American content. There was Canadian content as well (e.g. in what BC city did the famous dessert with chocolate and cream topping on each square originate? Answer: Nanaimo!). We have played this about 4 times already and it's a lot of fun. It's also a knowledge builder. I imagine by the time we've played it a dozen times, we will know the answers to most of the questions. Takes time but patience is a virtue. The board was broken on one side so I just put duct tape, no big deal. Otherwise, a well designed game with good sturdy plastic wedges. The question cards are also well designed.

It’s really good. We found it fairly difficult as a family at Christmas but for trivia enthusiasts it’s great.
