Schwinn Sting Ray 14"

The bicycle looks great and my grandson loves it. Both inner tubes developed leaks and had to be replaced during the 1st week. This makes me skeptical about the overall quality of the rest of the bike.

Great Kid's Bike

Relatively easy to put together, this bike is sturdy and strong. My grandson got this as his first bike and loves it. It rides smooth and glides well. Watch the price differences just because of color, otherwise, this lives up to the Schwinn name.

Missing pieces

I bought a "used-very good condition" bike. Unfortunately, it didn't come with all the bolts to assemble the product. The bike also has signs of wear like peeling stickers, scratches. Not Schwinn's fault necessarily but I'm disappointed in Amazon.

Instructions leave much to be desired

Instructions are generic, not specific to the bike I purchased, and cover a wide variety of options, none of which are on my bike. Have fun if you never put a bike together before as I have. Things that need to be loosened in order to make the final assembly/proper alignment are super tight and hard to loosen. Hopefully this lasts until my grandson outgrows it.

A little rust on handle bar

Seven year, average height, (not tall or too small) loves his new bike, he’s still using training wheels. Good quality bike. At first I was missing a bolt for the front wheel, I found it eventually after searching through everything, make sure you look at the plastic pieces papers and the box flaps for missing parts. There are tools needed to put the bike together but it’s common tools around the house. I was able to put it together myself but got stuck on the steering wheel. Instructions are a bit confusing.

Great quality bike!

We ordered this bike for our granddaughter, we opted for the light blue as a gender-neutral color because she has a little brother that can grow into the bike when she grows out of it, the blue is such a great color, it’s so vibrant! The bike arrived quickly after ordering it and came shipped in a big brown Schwinn box that had the actual bike box inside. The bike box looked pretty neat! I knew we would have to assemble the bike, but I was surprised to see how much of the bike was already put together in the box. It did come with a few small tools for assembly, the instructions gave the measurements of the tools you would need to use, so we used our own from our toolbox. Assembly was extremely easy and took a little over 20 minutes, mostly handlebars and pedals. The bike really slick looking and is very well made. Love that it came with training wheels that were very easy to evenly place on either side. Will be nice when we won’t need the training wheels anymore and they’ll be easy to remove. The whole bike is sturdy and has back wheel that’s a little more flat, should make learning to ride the bike a little easier. We are very happy with the bike and would recommend it to anyone!

Ehhh…

Not impressed with purchase. The handle bars were rusted/pitted. Bike leans to the right no matter how many times it’s fixed.
