Tagless

Had to purchase new ones as my old ones caught fire due to the annoying tag that comes on them. I was prepared to cut the tags off once these arrived and to my surprise, they are tag less!!! 10 stars if I could. They are wonderful. Would buy again and definitely recommend

Tie straps to short

I very much like the material and style of the apron as well as the soft color and the length. Although I ordered the largest size and thought for sure the straps would go completely around to the front for tying, they weren't long enough. There needed to be at least another 8 inches on each side for me to tie it in the front and feel comfortable. Also, the bib on top could use another couple of inches on each side. The adjustable strap on the top was great, once I decided where it needed to be. I have pain issues in my arms so trying to tie the apron in the back is difficult, so I need help from another person to do so. Planning to add extra length to current straps to make them longer and I still would recommend this apron to someone else.

Thrilled

This is my first review, but i feel compelled to express my gratitude. On rue Jacob in Paris there is a little linen shop that sells the most delicious things....I have kitchen towels I purchased there that have lasted years and are worn soft and gorgeous. Was looking to replace some items in my kitchen with something similar, something simple and zen but with a refined hand-feel like Belgian linen. I had looked at Waterworks, at Muji...and then I came across this apron and these oven mitts on amazon which were so well priced that I was skeptical. They arrived, I washed the aprons and they emerged from the dryer as wonderful as if they had come from Rue Jacob. But without the plane fare! The mitts we have used for a good month now and I've already purchased a second set because I want backup in case they stop making them. Thank you for making these gorgeous and affordable. They spark joy for me every day!

Great deal. These are fairly thick. Material is rugged but not soft/limp if that's what your looking for. I would not expect it to soften with washing either. 100% cotton. Feels almost like a cotton/linen blend--has that scratchiness to it. That said, works well and looks good. I actually thought that the price was for one potholder. Imagine my surprise that you receive two for this price. A great deal in my book!

Awkward pockets

I like the extra long ties, but the pocket is in the middle of the apron, making it difficult to reach when you have your hands full.

Adorable, but not the most functional

Super cute, but unfortunately the form surpasses the function. Not the best heat resistance, but certainly not the worst. And the fabric sustained some brown discoloration from the heat after a few uses. Probably not safe, but oh well.

Dust cloud from mitts and hot pads

When I received these mitts and four hot pads I clapped them together and a cloud of dust came out, despite being wrapped in plastic. So I’ve washed them in cold water and am air drying them now. They still have a faint odor like the dust particles. They are nice looking and washed well (make sure to air dry). Haven’t used them yet, but wondering why so much dust - what’s inside them?

Good bargain

Really nice. Waist straps could be a couple inches longer to make it easier to wrap around and tie but I could also stand to lose a few pounds. Pocket should be higher up or lower so it's out of the way of the straps but not a big deal.
