Finest footwear since the 1980's
In an age where poor quality footwear dominates the American market, these boots are a breath of fresh air. Not since the 1980's , have I owned such a high quality product! Nearly all the footwear I have had the misfortune of owning over the past 35 years have been ridiculously cheap quality, with laces breaking after a month, squeaking loudly after 4 months, soles falling off, sized inaccurately, eyelet hooks breaking off, and width sizing large enough for an elephant to wear, even though they say medium width. The Doc Martens size 10, are actually a size 10, the widths are perfect, the soles are awesome, the construction is High quality and have yet to find a single thing wrong with these boots, I am totally satisfied!

Comfortable, durable, and well made. Some of the best all around boots out there!!
I have been using these boots for over a year now and this is my second pair. They are ridiculously comfortable and breathable, yet durable. They also look fantastic and look good with wear/use over time. The soles are thick, durable and heavy duty, yet somehow super comfortable. I can use these for work such as working around the house or painting, or use them to go out. They make great casual shoes too. Honestly, just great all around multi-purpose boots. You really can't go wrong!

Size 8 womens fits like a 9
I had ordered a men's 6 first, because I read they run big. Well those were too tight. I actually kept them for my son, he could grow into them, he wears a 5. So then I went back and got a men's 7, and those fit alot better. They feel more like a women's 9, not a women's 8. If they had half sizes, I would have gotten mens 6.5 perhaps, but it's better to have the room so it's fine with me. I can lace them up tight and I've had no problem with the extra bit of room. At least tou can wear thick socks, I don't personally, but you could. I got these for work, I stand on my feet, and at times can potentially slip. These are great for being on your feet, mine don't hurt very much anymore:) The slip resistance is not there. I don't know if they're supposed to be , but I'm sliding across here and there when working lol. I haven't fallen yet, but I have to be careful. We don't have anti-fatigue mats unfortunately, so that's why I'm sliding everywhere. That's not the boots fault, so I do love the boots. I've been wearing them almost 3 months now, and they look good and don't get dirty easily. Now I want slip on ankle ones, so it's faster to take on and off.

Look, they're Docs. They generally cost alot of money but that's meaningless from the perspective of age, comfort, and style. These in particular will feel just as excellent as the leather originals only with a high quality nylon/canvas material (think All Stars if they were boots). No complaints at all really except the obvious trademark "breaking in" where you'll have to untie them as low to the toe as you can to avoid painfully wedging your feet into a narrow foot cave. However, the lace style is practical so it's hardly a problem getting in and out of them in only less than a couple minutes. Look cool, feel cool. Don't think about price because they'll last longer than you'll even be able to remember that. ps: they're discounted so if you always wanted a pair of Docs without spending over $100 for them, go for it ????

Feels good so far
Got a size 10, I usually fit anywhere 9-10 depending on the shoe. I did try on a pair in store, definitely do this instead of playing the "will this fit me" game. The pair I tried was the all leather, wasn't sure how I was going to feel about a canvas boot but the price was too good to pass up. After day one, pleasantly surprised. This is my first Dr Martens. They feel comfortable and support my foot. A little heavier than my feet are used to, but the complements and eyebrow raises (you know what I'm talking about guys) I received wearing these with a nice button down shirt and slacks are well worth it. I'm keeping these.

Good shoes but not the best quality
The shoes fit wonderful! I got a size down and they fit just great with the help of a shoehorn! But alas, the quality is not as good as they used to be, the soles have worn down quite a bit already in the 6 months I've had them and all I do is walk 2km a day to the coffee shop for a cuppa joe. So I'm not very impressed with the soles cause they seem to be tough rubber but not as tough as they would have been ten years ago, a shame. But other than the lesser quality soles, they fit great, feel good after being broken into, and I will gladly buy another pair but only after having a nice chat with the doc martens customer support team.

These are really solid boots for the cost!
I ordered these in November 2018. It's now July 2020. These boots still look great after two years and are in really good shape. I wore them more in the last two winters / spring and fall, more so in the winter. They fit as expected. They looked nice when I received them and still look good 2 years later. They are pretty comfortable are far as boots go. I put some insoles in them. They are not the warmest boots around. It's 0c -10c in the winters here and they are still okay for that weather. -20 -30 you might need something else, but that's okay these boots are not made to be winter boots more so stylish( EDIT: These boots are not just stylish, they are decent outdoors boots and I do a lot of outdoor activities in them, but they are A) not work boots, B) not hiking boots {they are okay for light hiking for for a serious outdoors man they'd be better off getting a different boot} , but I don't think most people buy them for that reason) . Good s*** kicking boots. Would order again. Definitely worth the money I paid.

Very nice quality boot, only issue the top is tight to get into but undo the laces you'll manage, also I pulled out the cord at the back trying to get the boot on LOL! had to glue it back in.

Great boots
I bought these for my daughter. She loves them. They are her 3rd Dr. Martens boots.They look less clumpy than the others and do not make the feet look big... The canvas makes them look different and special. Why the 4 stars? Because she wore them on a very rainy day and they were not waterproof. (It was such a downpour, it's possible that the water came in through the eyelets). She also said that despite being made of canvas they were tougher to break in than her leather pairs. Nevertheless, excellent value and can happily recommend.
