Fun kit, but i'm a big kid apparently

I got this to use with our little one, but ended up playing with it on my own. I had a fun time with it even though my wife made fun of me. I'll be redoing it again once hes a bit more interested but its definitely a fun intro to building you can enjoy with your kiddos.

Fun for a tiny mechanic

My kid enjoyed removing rim and tires. He’s only 4 though so it took some help to get the screwdriver skills together. But it’s good practice and he’s interested. Comes with stickers too so it felt like we were customizing the car. Really a neat little activity moreso than just a toy.

I am not sure who is going to be more excited about this red race car….me or my almost 5 year old grandson. He is newly enamored with Lightning McQueen and this race car is going to be so exciting for him. This is packaged so well so there will be no damage in shipping, that I cant get it out of the clear molded plastic surround without damaging the box. Since this is going to be a gift I will have to just tell you about what I see. Shiny red heavy duty plastic car that when I squeeze it, doesnt budge and inch. Two hoods to switch out. Four silver rims to switch out on the tires, a yellow plastic kid size screwdriver for the ‘crew’ member to be able to do their job as part of the pit crew. Stickers for the car, press a button inside the car and you get the engine noise. I HAD to go to the company website to check out the stats and the video on this car. I’m impressed! You can take off the spoiler, the wheels, the underside of the chassis. The doors open and close. You can see the shape of all the ‘stuff’ that’s on the underside of a car. The hood opens up. Lights. This takes 2 AA batteries and you better get some extras while you are at it. Seriously, I am a grandma that knows pretty much nothing about cars. Check this out and see if you aren’t excited too. This is every little boys dream car. I would purchase this again in a heartbeat, and you know what else? Guess who the favorite Grandma is!

I wanted to keep it to myself!

The car makes vroom vroom vroooooom sound with low gurgle and air intake beats between the firing in the way Saleen or Corvette would, rather than European race car. Being an American muscle car gal, I am SO excited about this car that I almost kept it to myself rather than give it to my almost 5 yr old. But it comes in a box where you can see the contents and caught my kid’s eyes first thing, so I have to share. His favorite color is red and this is a beautiful red car that turns black and red with the additional parts. The take apart and build back works well and my kid can do it pretty easily. None of the parts are too tiny, so it is easy to clean up. You do need your own box to contain the parts, as the box it comes in cannot be enclosed. I do wish the spare rims were completely different. The prong patterns are different but the two sets are both all same chrome silver color. Rims make such huge impact on the style, why not paint them different if you are putting in an extra set? Matt back or red outline would have been amazing, even flat silver would have been interesting.

Son AND dad loved this!

Husband thought this was such a cool toy and helped son put together and take the car apart. Not too many tiny pieces; which, is always a plus. There were quite a few different ways to assemble and disassemble this toy and kept our son entertained. This was a nicely priced item. Good value for what you get!

My nephew loves, loves, loves this toy

I gave this toy to my 3 year old nephew and he loved it. My brother, nephew, and 5 year old niece were so excited to put it together and play with it. My nephew loves cars and anything to do with them. He constantly asks to hold everyone's car keys and can identify most makes of cars. He's a little young for this set but he was able to put it together with supervision. The fact that this car makes sounds and lights up is just icing on the cake. I'm not sure who had more fun opening it and putting it together, my brother or my nephew!

Awesome car for a curious kid

I ordered this because I knew my son would love it. He loves taking his toys apart and figuring out what makes them move. This car was easy to assemble (and disassemble). The pieces feel well made and not cheap. I highly recommend this for any curious kid or young adult.
