Perfect for Traveling

I really like these brushes and they are really great for traveling. Really convenient having the dual ends I also like that the description of the brush ends are written on the handle. Which really makes it nice for a beginner or someone not that familiar with the types of eye makeup brushes and how to use them. I especially love the Define side because I can get a really nice line from it. I have cleaned them a couple of times and they hold their shape really well and clean very easily. No bristles have fallen out for me. Highly recommend, I wish EcoTools made other double end brushes for cream makeup (Foundation and Blush)

Just purchased my second set. This is brilliant! Two sided, very useful size and shape. Unfortunately I lost one of the brushes on one of my travels and was glad they are still selling them! Love, love, love this product!

Fantastic quality for a smashing price!

This is a nifty little brush set, great for those who don't want to spend loads of money but still want a quality product. The bamboo body feels nice to hold and doesn't have feel tacky like some of the plastic 'handled' make up brushes on the market. Although I wouldn't normally choose a dual ended brush (purely for the fact that I like to stand my brushes upright and doing so would mean that any residue product on the end of the brush would start to sit at the bottom of a holder) I like that having two brushes in one saves space when travelling and the size and quality of the brush head isn't compromised at all. The brushes also come in a little sleeve which is handy to store them in on their own. The brushes apply very well and feel soft, without being too soft or losing their shape. One of the brushes has a "define" end, used for applying eyeliner and the other end to "shade". The "define" brush is an absolute win, fantastic for drawing thin and thick lines with ease. Again, the "shade" brush is also very good and brushes product into the crease very nicely. The other brush has a "blend" end and a "smudge" end. The "blend" brush feels a little freer than the "shade" brush, essentially just allowing you to blend colours without completely taking them off. The "smudge" end isn't the best, but can be used to create a smokey eye with some practice. For the price, this is a quality product that feels more expensive than it is and I expect that many, like me, will appreciate the eco friendly appeal of these brushes too.

Amazing for painting warhammer miniatures!

This review is a little unusual as it has nothing to do with these brushes intended purpose, I paint miniature warhammer figures and was looking for a cheaper alternative to expensive dry brushes to add highlights to the edges of my miniatures. And I have to say these more than met my expectations, they match brushes that are 10 x times their price, I have been using them on loads of figures so far, and they are still as good as when I first got them. Can not recommend enough for this purpose anyway.

Brilliant!

Absolutely love these cute little brushes. Never heard of Eco Tools until recently needing some new brushes and checked out some YouTube videos for suggestions and these were mentioned. Now I've bought them, I see them everywhere! But, I thought I'd give them a try and honestly haven't put them down since. They're super super soft and far from flimsy. The blending brush is my favourite hands down but I use all 4 of them when doing my shadow. The only down side is, because they are double sided, I don't like the feeling of one side getting damaged when placing them up-right in my brush pot. But so far, they seem to be holding up perfectly fine :D

Lovely and soft, good price

These brushes are incredible. They are really really soft and make putting on eye makeup a real pleasure. I never bothered investing in proper brushes before and it was always so painful using the ones included that I'd often end up using my fingers and make a complete mess of it. I use the sharp angled one for applying dark eyeshadow to the edge of my lids to blend my eyeliner and you cannot see where one begins and the other ends. I then use the other end for applying eyeshadow to the lid and under the brow and the other brush for blending those. I love that each brush has two heads as this is more economical for travel, which i do a lot of. They are about as long as a pencil so they're not particularly travel sized but I think that makes them easier to hold and to control. I thoroughly recommend these brushes, especially if you're a novice (like me!) and have yet to discover how easy and fun make up can actually be with the right equipment! I think they are also very reasonably priced compared to other products.

Miracle Workers!

Before buying these brushes, I worked using my hands exclusively, thinking "why would I need brushes? I have 10 fingers right here!" I was wrong! These brushes are miracle workers! They apply eyeshadow flawlessly, and do magic with blending. Never before have I been so amazed by cosmetic brushes! The fact that they are double sides is a major plus, as you get 4 brushes in 2, saving space and time as you no longer need to rummage about looking for lost brushes. The fibers are very soft and skin friendly, they hold the pigment well and transfer it onto the eyelid with ease. The wooden handles are very ergonomically designed, as they are easy and comfortable to hold, not too thick and not too narrow. The let-down is the angled brush. I cannot find any real use for it as it isn't narrow enough for a clean eyeshadow line, and it doesn't really place pigment well, rather hold it all. But rest assured this set is well worth the money! 3 brushes (or 4, if you can find an intuitive way to use the angled!) for such a great price is an absolute bargain! I would recommend this for anyone! The brushes are brilliant tools, and this kit includes everything you would need to make the jump from fingers to tools.
