Replacement one because prior one developed a leak
This is a reorder because the prior one I got less than a year ago developed a leak in the inside sensor and lower part of the handle. I had used the product three to five times a week. I like how fast it heats up. This new one seems to be a little noisier than the last one. Heavy duty three prong cord.

Fast & Convenient
I purchased this to make things more convenient & to save energy. One can leave the room without having to watch a pot on the stove and can also heat water up quickly without having to turn on a burner. I chose this model because of its sturdiness (not much glass), variable temperature settings, its clean design, and its use of beautifully colored lights to designate the temperature setting.

It heats the water but keep warm feature isn't as expected
I bought this to have a hot chocolate bar for Christmas guests. So the keep warm feature was important to have hot water at the ready. The keep warm feature does re-boil the water as it cools, but once someone lifts the kettle to make their hot chocolate, the keep warm turns off. You have to re-set the keep warm for it to continue to warm the water for the next user. For daily use, this may be manageable, but for my purposes, it was disappointing. I realize it's a safety feature, which is good of course. It simply wasn't what I expected in that feature.

This is a High QUALITY Stainless Steel Electronic Temperature Control Kettle HURRY and get one before they are SOLD OUT
I have wanted a Multi Temperature Control Electric Tea Kettle for almost 2 YEARS now, BUT I just couldn't afford to pay the $80-$120 Dollars, check it out for yourself, I can get a top of the line coffee pot for that price!. BUT every time I manage to save enough money to purchase one, I just can NOT get myself to pay so much money, so I settled for a GREAT cup of coffee, and accept the fact that for now, that Perfect Cup of Coffee continues to remain out of reach. UNTIL.. i was looking for a Pour Over coffee filter and then OMG I saw this Electric Kettle with the EXACT same features AND it has even more features than the comparable Kettle costing $80-$120 I was in SHOCK when I saw all the extra's I was blown away. 1. It's made of Stainless Steel NOT PLASTIC that looks like metal 2. It has a Keep Warm Feature, when the temperature falls below your desired temperature, it automatically turns itself on until the temperature returns 3. It has Programmed LED Lights according to temperature setting, which is AWESOME Green, Blue, Yellow, Purple and red When it reaches the desired temperature the LED light turns off, so you know when it's finished and ready! 4. It has an Automatic Shutoff, AND Boil-dry Protection so you don't RUIN or damage 5. It has a Concealed Heating Element 6. Non Slip, 360 degree Rotary Base AND 7. Excellent product for 4 yrs and 8 mos. Buying again without the 4 yr service contract.
Pro: 1. Four different temperature settings for different tea types in addition to the full boil setting. 2. Only 1100W vs. 1500W of other models. Our kitchen has many other appliances with significant power draws. This reduces the chance of tripping a circuit breaker. Con: In the past two weeks the top stopped opening fully with one press of the button but would open with a second press. Today the top only opened 1/4 inch and no farther despite multiple button presses. It will not stay completely closed either. Is it maybe a broken plastic part in the hinge assembly like a different make&model with the same problem that I discovered online? This kettle has all the features I want and has been very convenient and easy to use. There is a very similar make&model with a lower price that reviews say frequently fails to function entirely within months. Few things are manufactured to be heirlooms these days. Instead of ordering that cheaper kettle I'm ordering the same kettle I ordered 4+ yrs ago again but not with the 4 yr service contract.

Problems from day one
I purchased this roughly a year ago, in March of 2022. The main boiling light has never worked, which is kind of annoying but liveable because boiling is the default anyway. I went through the hassle of a back-and-forth with customer service, but even after sending their required video, proving without a doubt that it was faulty, they wanted me to mail it in. I got busy and never did. (Which is, I'm sure, what they were hoping for.) I learned to live without the little light to let me know and relied solely on the beeping... and, you know, the loud, visible boiling. Then the main body lights stopped working. I have no idea when that happened because I didn't rely on any of the lights, really. Still a usable kettle, though. Not that big a deal. It boils. Then the measurements started wearing off on the see-through part. OK, now it was getting annoying, but there was still a faint line by the minimum that I could Sharpie darker. I hardly ever filled it up to the max anyway, and the minimum line was more important, right? Well, today the lid doesn't latch. Is it still technically usable? Sure, I guess, as long as I don't mind a potentially different boiling time, as well as steaming the bottom of my cupboards. But, as features fail one by one, I can't help but wonder what will happen when the heating mechanism fails. Quiet death or countertop inferno? Well, I'm not going to tempt fate. I've got a different kettle on the way, with the same features that, fingers crossed, will actually all work and not die one by one!

Sadder But Wiser
The kettle is three months old. It does not shut itself off automatically as advertised, the controls are difficult to use, and now the lid will not stay down unless weighed down by a heavy metallic object. I requested that Amazon would allow me to return it to them for a refund, but this is not happening. As a longtime Amazon customer, I am disappointed.
