A Grill That Sears Your Meat!
I was enjoying a perfect steak in a restaurant when the manager walked by. I asked how they got my steak done the way I like it (medium well) and it was still tender. He said you put it on a 500* grill to sear on both sides; then lower the heat to finish. We have not had or wanted an outside grill for some time. I had another brand inside electric grill that I did not like very much. So, I started looking on Amazon. When I saw that this grill sears, I had to have it. It did not disappoint! We love it. It gives you the perfect piece of meat. Easy to clean too.

Very Good
Nice electric grill for quick cooking and cleaning. The cord is short but not an issue for myself and I wish it had a little bit more of a slope. I would recommend this grill as an option if you looking for one.

An appliance to love!
I saw this in a supermarket lobby where a charity was raising money by selling hot dogs. I rarely eat hot dogs and certainly not at a supermarket stand, but I was starving, having just come from the gym. I was amazed at how perfectly cooked the hot dog was. I asked the young lady doing the cooking about the appliance. She said it was great. They had tried the more well-known brand of indoor grills and this was hotter and faster. Having gotten totally frustrated with trying to keep my large fryer/toaster oven clean, (which took up way too much counter space) I decided to give this appliance a try. I have cooked frozen fish, and lamb chops so far. . It has a "sear" option. You press a button and the temp goes up to 500' for 90 seconds. What I love best is that it is easy to clean. I can see all parts, and I can clean all parts.

Best travel grill.
We love this indoor grill. We travel quite a bit. We used to take our Cinder grill on the road but now we take this one because it only takes 10 minutes to cook a 1" ribeye steak vise versa the Cinder takes 55mins to 1hr. Plus its a lot lighter than our Cinder grill. So if you're in the market for one, this is the one to get...great product.

Performs well, sear at 500 degrees
This unit is a good size for 4 average steaks, all seared at once. The plates are not removable, so cleanup is a little more painful that it could be...but using the moist paper towel method (as described by others) works ok. The little drain cup just sits on the counter at the front left corner of the unit - not integrated or attached to the machine, so that's a little odd too - but I get why it was designed that way - the drain cup is easy to clean which is good. So far I'm pretty happy with this - I'd go 5-stars if the plates were removable and easier to clean. I have no complaints about the searing performance of this unit.

Healthy Grilling
I love it. Cooks healthy. Grills meat, seafoods, vegetables so easily. Clean up is easy as well. At first we thought that the drip pan would be problematic, because our previous gill has an integrated drip pan, but it is even better because we can dispose the drips easier and you can wash it separately. If we lose the drip pan, you can substitute a small bowl.

Amazing high temperature searing grill
The searing feature is amazing. I cooked the best steaks ever and the cooking time suggested was perfect. It was very easy to clean up with wet paper towel.
