Best for hot weather!

Helps a little; doesn't last nearly what they claim.

Just got this, followed instructions and wnet out to mow lawn -- about 90 degrees F, 52% humidity; sky very cloudy so no direct sun. It was very nice for the first 20-30 minutes; then didn't seem to be having any effect, even though still fairly wet. Not sure it's any better than just running a t-shirt under cold water before putting it on; maybe a little.

So COOL

I used this in a very dry climate (5-15% humidity) and it works great. I was able to get a couple of hours out of it, kept a gallon zip lock bag on the bike, when it was time for some more water just drop it in put about 8 oz in and ring out and get back on the road. Wish I would have gotten this two years ago for another trip in the desert. Would buy again Side note, make sure you have it folded up when you let it dry because it will be stiff as a board.

DO NOT BUY!

This product fails in several areas. The zipper is cheap and comes unzipped in the middle, which requires alignment and tugging to fix--but only until the next time. In two days, the zipper malfunctioned at least four times. One needs to understand the cooling affect is based on the wet bulb temperature, which is the minimum temperature of evaporating water. High heat and high humidity minimize the temperature. Finally, order one size larger. XL is normally loose on me--not the vest. Being too small exacerbates the zipper problem. Please buy a different product.

Helpful for MS Heat Intolerance

I have been using this vest for awhile, and have found it very helpful for MS intolerance. I find that outdoors in full sun when it's 30C+ outside, it isn't as effective. The blue panels hold water, and are stiff when dry, but will soften completely when wet. I wear this with a sports bra and high-waist shorts as it's rather short, even though I am a short woman. I wish they would make this a bit longer, and to look more stylish for women, so I'm deducting one star for that. Indoors it's great, especially when sitting in front of a fan.

Keeps you cooler

I purchased this for very hot temperatures on my motorcycle, when it’s wet it is wonderful!!! Keeps your body temp cooler. It works. Cons: when it dries out, feels like cardboard, but wet it down again and viola it’s awesome

Coolness at it's best !

I bought this for my father in law and the day he got it put it on right away. He wore it for a couple hours and it kept him nice and cool. He said it's comfortable and kept him nice and cool and it also did not impede an of his activities. Buy this you won't be disappointed. I only wish it came in pink???? so I could order myself one ????
